I don't think there is any doubt, that we call plays like a Pop Warner team.

If you need a better example, please see the total PWNAGE that the Arizona Cardinals applied to the lowly Dolphins...Yes the same Dolphins that almost came back to beat us.

I would argue that our offensive unit is at least on par if not better than theirs...the difference? PLAYCALLING. They have the balls to open up the offense and take chances, while we call the same mundane crap over and over again...sorta reminds me of Hackett.

At this point, if we continue down this path, it doesn't matter who our QB is...Schotty needs to grow a pair and stop being a puss.

I live in Phoenix and work in Scottsdale.....Lot of Cardinal fans and sports broadcaster have week 4 down as a win....I thought it was crap unitl watching the cards play the last 2 weeks....they have a young solid D Fense and a dangerous Offense....We could easily loose this game

If that is the case, then the Cardinals will win. I have been a big fan of the current Cardinals staff since day 1. When they hired Whisenhunt and Grimm and kept Pendergast, I felt the Cardinals would make the playoffs in either 2007 or 2008.
Dedric Ward, Maurice Carthon, John Lott, and Todd Haley are on the staff, too.

Why is everything so black and white on this board?

Players still have to execute...not commit 6 penalties for 60 yards.

they did also have to put the ball in Brett Favre's hands.. he threw a TD to the new #3 WR star Stuckey when they did.

Penalties hurt, but not getting a TD when very needed on the 3 yrd line not throwing a TD with Brett Favre hurts more... Joe Fan (including myself) is doing play action or letting him sit back and fire one into the chest of a jet receiver.

Penalites will go away after the bye week, the new guys still have to garner chemisty - that doesn' show up in one day, week or month - it takes months.

Everyone has to remember as well that the Jets had to travel to Miami. Also, Pennington had a lot to play for that game as well.

Every week is a different week. One can't say just because Team X beat Team Y and Team Y beat Team Z that Team X should beat Team Z. Losses tend to exaggerate the negative feelings by fans anyway, just as fans tend to get too high in wins. Being a Packers fan as well as a new Jets' fan, I can point to today's game. The Packers dominated in the first half and looked awfully good. Then, in the second half they went to sleep and the Lions came back. If the Packers would have lost that game, the fans would have been very down on the team. Instead, the Lions throw three INTs, the Packers win easily, and the fans are on a high and looking forward to facing the Cowboys.

The Cards are gonna be tough...that D is ridiculously flexible...so many guys on that D that can do a whole bunch of stuff...

That's one of the games I'm really looking foward to watching this year.

They look like they are the class of the NFC West and they punished Miami today so bad that Penny got pulled in favor of Henne. They are a fun team to watch but their entire offense is based on Fitzgerald and Bolden. Obviously guys like Breston and Hightower and going to be solid pros but IMO our corners are good enough to shut down those guys. Let's be honest Revis shut down the best in the game today and I don't wanna hear because no Brady as he did a good job against him last year in the 2nd Cheats game.

AZ isn't gonna come in here and blow us out like they did to Miami. It's going to be a tough game but I think as long as they allow the offense to play to their strengths the Jets should hold serve in thier home stadium.

True, Fitzgerald/Boldin is nothing like Coles/Cotchery, but still Jets shouldn't be playing 20-14 ball with the fish, if the fish secondary is THAT bad.

My main point was to highlight the fact that we squeaked by the fins while AZ blew them out. Plus, you make a case that Favre/Coles/Cotch is on par with Warner/Boldin/Fitz

It all comes down to how you run the offense...and we run it like a bunch of pussies.

I am terrified of our coaching right now. Other than that I like the team, we have a strong D, but they have not all played well at the same time so it is not dominant yet.

    Concern 1. Coaching
    Concern 2. Coles/Favre chemistry

warner/fitz/boldin is way better than favre/coles/cotch. Favre gets the nod over Warner of course but the WR comparison is ridiculous. Absurd. Coles is completely useless at this point guys. Done. And he wasnt that good to begin with. Cotch is getting better but he is still trying to get on same page as favre. Put it this way...if offered warner fitz and boldin for our trio, I would walk our trio on my back to Arizona to make sure they dont change their mind.

While I wouldn't go crazy and proclaim Coles as useless, I agree with the rest. There's no way Coles/Cotch holds a candle to Fitzgerald/Boldin. I don't think if those green-colored glasses were opaque I could make the assumption otherwise.

This year it really looks like Coles has lost a step, maybe its his sulky attitude but he does not look good on the field. Cotch looks good, but he is a great number 2, not a 1 guy. Favre is obviously better than Warner but without the coaching being on the same page it is not possible to be a full Favre

You anti-Coles people are ridiculous. He's had, what, 7 practices with Favre?

I'm not even going to bother getting into how stupid the "bad attitude" argument is at this point.
