The fucking sky is falling. The Pats came right in and walked right over us. 260 yards vs. 256 104 rushing yards vs. our 104 165 passing yards to our 181. We were fucking murdered. Our coaches are disgustingly bad. Using my lip reading skills, I saw Schotty actually call for Coles to drop at least two first downs. I also saw Mangini actually ask the refs for that PI call on the 41 yard pass to Cotchery. I actually think these guys WANT us to lose. NINETEEN to ten. At home. This kind of shit shouldn't happen folks. We're doomed. There's only 14 games left to catch up on the Pats and Bills one game clamp on the division lead. We are coached by PUSSIES who don't want us to win. We got absolutely DOMINATED in the trenches, where we couldn't even keep them under 100 yards rushing and only got one more sack than they did. I'm embarrassed. I'm ashamed. I can't watch this team if every game looks like this. I refuse too. We're done. Time to clean house. Fire EVERY coach. We need to overhaul this thing completely. Otherwise, I'm becoming a Fins fan.
Other things that changed this week: 1. Thomas Jones sucks. 70 yards WTF. 2. D'Brick is now back to D'Bust. Seymour owned him and Faneca today. 3. Favre is no longer God. 4. Harris = Bust? Only 9 TKLs, and showing no big play ability. 5. Cotchery isn't as good as we thought he was.
Bro Favre can only do so much... These fucking 2nd and 20's are getting out of control. The team is committing way too penalties and looked awful today in EVERY phase of the game. What are we to say? "Well it's okay, we'll get em next time?" Hell no, I'm going to vent when I see a team who put up that pathetic performance. Had they shown some things and play well then I could take something positive, but their wasn't anything.
lets keep the ball out of favre's hands on 1st and goal... when they didn't do that he scored a TD to Stuckey - who is becoming a breakout #3 right now. Lets never try to demoralize a team, instead we will play nice and beat them fair and square.
I'd give them a one week pass. If they can get by the Chargers (who will be tough to beat after getting robbed this week of a win), all is forgiven.
Oh, I'm rewatching the game now...remember when Jones had that big run with Baker in front? I actually saw Schotty shout, "DON'T MAKE A MOVE, JUST RUN RIGHT INTO BAKER CAUSE THEY GOT YOU ANYWAY!!!" I'm telling you...these fuckers need to go. All of 'em. I say if Woody is too much of a pussy to do it, we all revolt.
It was a close game. So what? We lost when we easily could have won. Close losses hurt A LOT more than being blown out.
We don't give them "passes" dude. How the fuck can you just hand passes out to a 1-1 team that just got PUMMELED at HOME against last years Super Bowl participants? So, what do you do next week when the Manginas get PUMMELED against an ANGRY SD team? Give 'em another pass? Now we're 1-2 with 13 games left to play. You just want to dig us deeper and deeper you...digging fiend. You epitomize the JETS as a whole, always giving each other a pass, unless it's a football one then they DROP IT like its hot. All cause the coaches told them too. No passes. If we don't go 14-0 the rest of the way...and with these jackasses we sure won't...well then we have no shot at making any noise at all. Fire and brimstone bitches.
Its clear the O clearly needs to spend a little more time on the practice field and get on the same page. Lets calm down here though guys, Dware is right its not the end of the world, the Coaching staffs clearly got a work on a few things, and we might need a new punter.
Colintes, I'm being cereal. This is the end. This is the Book of Revelations of the Jets franchise. I hope we get contracted next year.
Some people choose to look at today's loss as only the second game of the season, maintaining there's nothing to worry about, while heaping scorn upon those who choose to see today's game as a continuation of last year's ineptitude. In my opinion, this coaching staff is woefully overwhelmed by the job. It's obvious to anyone who knows anything about sport. Tell me...how does a professional football team, coming out of a commercial time out after a kick-off, get called for having twelve men on the field? I didn't see too much wrong with individual play today (outside our place kicker missing a chippy and a few dreadful punts), but was shocked by the awful offensive game plan and in-game decisions.
