After Favre's preseason games and first game of the season against Miami I remarked to a friend that maybe Favre will be the first Jets QB with 30 TD's in a number of years, probably since Ken O'Brien I thought. Turns out I looked up the stats and NO Jet QB has ever had a 30 TD season. Vinny has the team record with 29 in the '98 season. That's pretty sad, no QB even Joe Willie has had a 30 TD season in 50 years of football.

He has 3 TD passes after 2 games. That's not bad at all.

The Jets as a team had 33 TDs passing in 1998: 29 by Vinny and 4 by Glenn Foley

    Didn't Namath throw for 4,000 in a 14 game season? 30 is a quite a bit harder in 14 than 16. Just a thought.

    Had 26 TDs that year...and 28 INTs.

Joe was the Favre of his day.

    That's on a 24 TD pace.
