*sigh* You dont get it do you? The line moves down (in this case) because too much money is coming in on the Jets. so the spread moves to push money toward the pats.
All that means is that Vegas doesn't like the way the money is going. It's too one sided so they are trying to even it out.

Our beloved NY Jets (4-12 last year) are favored to win over the Pats (16-0 last year) in the 2nd week of the season! who would have thought?? i'm excited for the game, but i like flying under the radar, especially this early in the season. The whole offseason, ESPN gave us no credit, we beat Miami and now some of them are picking us to win the AFC. Ahhhhh i haven't been this excited for a game in a few years.
