I'm with you. :beer: The Coles story is being grossly overblown by the media and people on this board are surprisingly gullible. Coles will be fine. He's coming off a nagging thigh injury and still dealing with not playing with his best friend. He's still one of the top 2 receivers on our team and will have a major impact on our offensive production this season. You morons who are actually suggesting that we trade away Coles for a 4th round draft pick are making me embarrassed to be a Jets fan.

While I respect other peoples opinions and would fight to the death for you right to express them. Opinions are like assholes and many here are acting as such over this matter. Up to and including damning a guys family right along with him. The guy can't win for losing with many here who post on this board. He's a loyal friend who stands up for that friendship, God what an asshole he must be. He expressed himself and his opinion and, yes he is allow to have one as well. No where did he say he had anything against Brett or playing with him. No where did he say he wanted out of NY and no longer want to be a Jet. A lot of Jet fans forget that Chad was willing to give up some of his money when the Jets were cap tight and the Jets were trying to reaquire Coles from the Skins, just to get him back in Green and White. That should tell you all volumes about how tight these two guys are. We must also remember that Chad named Lava as his first son's Godfather a pretty big honor if you ask me , especially between two " team mates". For all these reasons and more we have no idea about the man is a true friend, we should all be so luckly to have even one friend like that. I also have a feeling that Coles because of what he went thru as a kid could never or would never get too close to someone till Chad came along. An so you see the results of a solid bond between two guys that will remain for there life time and well after there football careers are long forgotten. So how about we just lighten the fuck up on the guy and don't be too surprised if he has nothing to say to anyone other then his team mates after this B.S. being blown way out of hand. I have a feeling as the season progresses and he and Brett get on the same page many of you will be singing a different tune. The guy is a player who gives 110% and I don't care what the press says about him or the Jets, the only thing that matters to this Jets fan is the results on the field and the numbers on the score board

Coles has his issues. I have my issues. Do you have issues? We all have issues. The first game I saw out of brain surgery in 2003 was the Jets vs. the Redskins. The opener. My head was a mess, and I saw Coles say, "Lavaranues Coles. Something Something HIGH SCHOOL". Whazzat...? High School, what? I need me some pain killers. Demerol! NURSE!

That should set it straight. Coles is sad his friend is gone, but thats about it. Get over it guys, seriously, stop with all the negative BS. Coles is the heart and soul of this team, whether you want to believe it or not, we need him if we think we are going anywhere this season.
Jesus Christ. Is this guy Jevon Walker now? His pal Chad is playing in Miami. He's not dead. He needs to get over this already, put up his usual stat numbers for the year and hopefully the FO will help him find a solution to his "mental and emotional stress" over the off-season.
