So what? Yeah, they chocked in the end but 16-0 is still a pretty spectacular accomplishment. The fact that they ended up loosing the last game after winning the first 18 in a row doesn't take away the fact that they still won 18 in a row.

I suppose it's like baseball teams putting up league pennants. Or the same as NFL conference championship pennants. They just added the 16-0 because it has never been done. I actually don't see this as being a big deal.
Much like hte Bills of the 90's. The only team to make 4 SBs in a row, yet will always be remember as losers. Its too bad because they did have some very, very talented teams. I'm surprised some nut case from Buffalo has not found Scott Norwood yet.

I'd prefer an 18-1 record with the "1" being a loss in September to the Jets instead of what we ended up with, but going 16-0 in the regular season has never been done. Its a great accomplishment.

i'm sure your special friend "Little Bill"...has an extensive private video collection that he perused throughout the season....he's a known cheat, i wouldn't put it past him.
The whole banner idea seems pretty lame and just brings up unpleasant memories (that they lost in the SB). I guess the same could be said of an AFC Champion banners. But somehow I wouldn't see that as depressing.
