I have a similar story. It was the next day. I was listening to 107.3 from Boston. It used to be a cool rock station. But they had two douche bag DJ's on laughing about the Vinny injury and saying that they will send Bill Parcells a teddy bear. Ever since then I have had a hatred for anything Patriot.
I think alot of us have similar stories to this. I remember the day after Chad broke his wrist in the preseason game against the Giants. All Jet fans following that amazing division title in 2002 had huge hopes going into that season and they were squashed in that meaningless game to the Giants. I had a neighbor who was a Pats fan from Broxton or some shit like that and the day after the injury he says to me "that's what you get for stealing the division from us last year". I wanted to punch that ass in the face. Even if there was one ounce of dirty intent in that play does Randy Moss not share a locker room with Richard Seymour or Rodney Harrison.
Last week I was sooooo confident that the Jets would beat NE this week, I could not wait for this Sunday to come. We were catching the Pats at the right time. Superbowl hangover....Favre home opener....Brady still working off the rust. I was confident in a victory...... NOW!! not so much....I've done a 180 and now think we are catching them at the wrong time.... BeliCHEAT's motivation has been written for him...Here is my version of tomorrows film study in NE.... BeliCHEAT: Yeah guys Brady is done for the year. I guess it was ONE guy, ONE guy that took us to 3 Superbowls, ONE guy that took us to an undefeated season ONE guy that took us to another Superbowl. ONE guy did it all.....Noone else....ONE guy.....so I guess since that ONE guy is done WE are all done...... ....throws his smelly ass sweatshirt against the wall....STOPS!! and says oh yeah one more thing...... We are facing a team that went 4 and 12, a team that we have owned in their stadium for 4 years....a team that didnt sniff the playoffs.....while WE won 3Superbowls.....WE went undefeated during the regular season......WE went to a Superbowl.....and WE, WE are THREE point underdogs.... I know if I was coaching then Pats that this would be my motivation for my team this week. Personally, it scares the hell out of me.... This type of motivation will wear off in about 2 or 3 weeks, but for this week going against your biggest rival, BeliCHEAT is going to ask his TEAM to step up....Not any one player but THE TEAM.... I would have to think that this is the same type of motivation that McCarthy used tonight for the Packers.... I hope, NO, I pray I'm wrong, but I'm very worried about this week. and I am in no way a darksider...I drink the Green Kool-Aid every year, I'm just expressing my concerns for the week.
Do you really need any extra motivation for Jets/Pats game? Motivation isn't changing the fact that Brady isn't playing.

that video was hilarious. can anyone take that serious with phil collins playing in the backround? and the end with chad.. typical fan from boston/wherever. so im thinking.. by the looks of it it seems to take awhile for quarterbacks to get back to form after suffering knee injuries. this should be good.
I would agree with you if this was the last year's patriots team, but it isn't. The Patriots have more holes than just at the QB position. I still don't think that this is a sure win like some of the Jets fans do, but I think we definitely should be considered the favorites now.
