Rattay, Cassel, and Simms are all terrible qbs that have little expiernce with anyone on the Pats. Moss and Daunte are really close and they were great back in the day. Daunte on the Pats would scare me more then the other 3 they are trying out. Is this a possibility for the Pats to get him, or is this just some insane thought I have?

I just think his knee/mobility are a liability rather to an asset to any team.....wont work, they will stay with cassell

They have absolutely nothing to lose by taking a look at Culpepper. I would be surprised if they didn't try to reunite Moss and Dante..

No. He's lacks the athleticism that made him good years ago and has never been a good "read and react" qb. Thus, no.

It's way too early for the Patsies to panic and pick up Daunte. To be fair, no one knows what Cassel is until we play him next week. After riding the pine for three years, he definitely deserves at least one shot.

For the next 3-4 weeks, it doesn't matter...Cassell will be the Patriots starting QB. No other free agent can simply get signed by the Patriots...Then start right away...If thats the case, I really hope it happens.

Fact of the matter is this...Cassell knows the team and playbook better than any other QB...He will be the QB for the next 3-4 weeks until someone else learns the offesne...If not...Cassell is their man!

He did win today. Granted it was vs a real weak Kc team, but a win is a win.

Next week just because a ton more interesting for even the average fan.

Yeah exactly, it doesn't matter who they bring in, Cassell will start until that person learns the system....
