Kris Jenkins looked like he was having so much fun getting back on the field for real...He was a load to block, and the rush defense was superb.

I think the line played awesome! The last few drives we held back, and didn't blitz anyone. They were more concerned with the sidelines, and didn't want to get burnt.

then say the d line sucked at pass rush then.. You can't say the dline sucks after they stuffed the run very well today..

I definitely disagree about the DL. They looked very good today. Miami had 49 yards rushing. Last year the starting RB would have had that in the first quarter. And the Jets managed several sacks. D Line was a big improvement.

The only thing I wish is that we would have blitzed more in the 4th. I thought we went p*ssy with a soft, prevent D to win the game. Just like we did often in 2006. Somebody just tell Sutton to stay aggressive and the D will be fine.

I swear people draft up these posts before the game and just post them regardless.

It was only one game and IT WAS Miami but the d-line looked the best it has in 3 or 4 years. Maybe more.

I thought the 3rd down at then end of the game almost cost us. We pick up a 1st down, game over. It was 3rd & 5, not 3rd & 20. We were lucky it was Chad

That's not the job of the NT in a 3-4 defense.

The last drive wasn't good, and there are a bunch of possible reasons - the heat, the defensive calls - but otherwise the defensive line played very well, and that certainly includes Jenkins.

its the 4th qtr playcalling thats bothering you... its not the D-Line.

Sutton is bothering you, not the D-Line.

What didn't they do, sack Chad on every play?

Learn a d-lineman's job in a 3-4 then re-evaluate your statement. And for future reference, do it before you post.

I agree. They had 4 sacks and did the best job against the run I have seen from them in years. And Williams and Brown are no slouches when it comes to running the ball.

We gave up 49 yds rushing to one of the top RB duos in the NFL..You have to learn how to watch football kid..Dline takes space and don't create running lanes so LB's can make tackles..The Jet's dline gets an A+ for yesterday with the heat..Let me tell you something any win in the NFL is good..Miami is a much better team with Chad than you think and winning a road game in those conditions is freakin tough..I don't want to hear crap about the lowly Dolphins..Jets win a hard fought game against a division opponent..GREAT JOB...things to improve..of course..A Win is a win is a win!!!
