Buffalo looked as good as they did in week 1 in 2003 when they beat the pats 31-0, then went on to a 6-10 record. The Seahawks are awful.

Tom Curran, of NBC Sports, reports New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said he did not have any updates on QB Tom Brady (knee) following the team's win over the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday, Sept. 7. "They're looking at him, doing some tests on him," Belichick said. One New York Jets player said players and coaches were saying Brady suffered a torn ACL. That, however, has not been confirmed. If Brady were to have suffered a torn ACL, his season would be over.

Jay Glazer on Fox just repeated the rumor:

"Tom Brady, out for the year."

Not having Brady makes beating the Pats possible now but it's not guaranteed. With receivers like Moss and Welker even average QB's can look good. And the backup QB has been sitting for several years so he should be fairly ready.

    Brady?

This is a great chance for the jets to get a winning season/clinch division. Though not to jump the gun, we still have 15 games to go...You never know, Matt Cassel could have a 4000yard season this year:rofl::shit:.

WTF? That's pretty much what Glazer said.
Brady is feared to be ut for the year.
    ACL.
That usually means "out for the year," dude!!
Or worse, "out for your career."
    Sorry, Pats Nation.

I think it was that darned "Esquire magazine Cover Curse!'

I don't think it was intentional though, the DB was tackled by a Pats player and was probably holding on the play. If the Pats player hadn't held Brady wouldn't have gotten hit so awkwardly. I guess there is no "tuck rule" in the books for the Pats with this one.

BTW the Pats game was on right next to the Jets game, Cassel looked good on 1 drive. Granted it was a 98 yard drive but let's be honest it was the Chiefs. Moss destroyed Patrick Surtain multiple times and that certainly helped Cassell out. I saw alot of 3rd down blitzes and Cassel scraping his ass off the field a few times. He certainly does not look like the next incarnation of Brady. The Pats run game stepped up but I am confident that the Jets will shut down Sammy Morris, Maroney may be more difficult but I think the Pats certainly looked very beatable both offensively and defensivly if not for Bowe dropping a TD pass in the final few plays the game goes to OT.

I'd hate to wish injury on anyone, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm pretty stoked about this. The AFC east is ours for the taking, bring on the brady-less patsies next week!

Thank God we have an IRONMAN at QB and not a cocky, whiny, fragile a-hole like Brady.

Bernard Pollard is an angel sent by God.

simmer down, dude....the Bills racked up 34 points on a decent Seattle defense...i think it's a little premature to say that the division is ours....but i do admire your enthusiasm
