    Jaguars-Titans
Albert Haynesworth still looks like the best defensive tackle in the league.

Rookie RB Chris Johnson is really good. Not only can he run and catch, but he also had a fine block at one point in the game. Obviously, I was watching the Jets and couldn't see every play in this game.

Like Haynesworth, Justin McCareins also picked up where he left off. So you know what that means. Yes, he had a really bad drop.

    Cardinals-49ers
The hit of Week 1 (so far and from what I've seen) was delivered by Darnell Dockett on 49ers FB Zak Keasey. Keasey was hit low by Gerald Hayes and then Dockett arrived to finish him off and dislodge the ball. A few plays later, Neil Rackers would miss a chip shot field goal.

    Cowboys-Browns
The "T.O. Has B.O." sign is back. That sign made its first appearance at the Eagles-Browns game in 2004. It is hilarious because it is so very juvenile.

Michael Turner is a man-beast rushing for over 220 yards

With Turner in the fold and Ryan at the helm, there are some brighgt days ahead for Atlanta. Maybe not this year, but....they got a good nucleus emerging there.

The Browns apparently decided to go without a front 7 on defense today. Romo has had time for a nap and a sandwich on just about every play.

Vince Young was injured late in the game today, but I don't know the severity.

We always knew he was a pretty good RB and today he proved it. This was no fluke. He may not run over 200 yards every week but he certainly is capable of breaking one every play.

    Buccaneers-Saints
Rookie cornerback Tracy Porter had an excellent game today. He broke up two would-be TD passes. He is a candidate for NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Randall Gay also broke up a key pass late in the game.

Drew Brees, Reggie Bush, Jeremy Shockey, and Jonathan Vilma all had good games.

Robert Meachem was drafted by the Saints in the 1st round of the 2007 draft. He was inactive all of last year. He was inactive again today.

Terrible decision on a FG by Crennel, it does nothing in getting them back in the game.

Mental. and after a bad snap. That's poise and composure in a QB if ive ever seen it. Also when was the last 'as time expires' td to win a game?

Tremendous close to the Carolina-San Diego game. Even Dwayne Jarrett had a catch on the final drive. I had been down on him since his SC days.

I was going back and forth with that one and the Cardinals-49ers game.

Cowboys-Browns was a complete waste of time.

I was surprised that they kicked the extra point, given that time had expired. Is that a new rule? I think it's insane - what if someone gets injured on a completely meaningless extra point?
