As a guy coming back from an ACL tear I would not wish a kenn injury on the biggest asshole fan of the Pats, but I have a feeling that Grogan has gonce the way of The 4th ring and will never be seen again.
I doubt we hear anything official from the Patriots until game time. I wonder if the right shoulder injury will be on the report this week. The only way we will know if it's truly serious is if the pats pick up another qb this week.
I doubt we will hear Grogan at all until at least after next week's game. Maybe not ever depending on how that goes.
Rumor in the Jets locker room is a torn ACL. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/09/07/jets-assume-brady-has-torn-acl/ Moss is calling the play "dirty" from the few replays I saw, it didn't look that way to me. I thought the defender was blocked into him...what did you guys think?
As long as you do not drop brady its an ok move. He's still behind that O-line throwing to Moss. It could be a lot worse.
I saw it live. The von Oelhoffen injury of Palmer in the '05 playoffs immediately came to mind. After seeing the play at least a half dozen times now, I do not think Bonecrusher had to intent to injure Brady.
http://blogs.nbcsports.com/home/archives/2008/09/jets-assuming-torn-acl.html Picked up here too. Dirty? Call the whaaaambulance
Tired of the Pats complaining about Dirty plays, and they are the worst offenders of this. Thats the only reason why part of me chuckles at Brady getting injured, not because I'm a bad guy, but because it's because luck would've finally caught up to them.
Brady out for the year, according to Pats sources http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_y...=ms-bradyoutforyear090708&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
Belicheck's arrogance comes back to bite him. Why he has refused to obtain a legitimate backup is beyond me, but I couldn't be happier about it.
