did we take this guy with a 2nd round pick? Hes complete trash. How the hell was he captain at ohio state? Every year this guy misses very makeable field goals and gives the other team momentum. im sick of this bum. you have one fucking job kick field goals and he cant do that. and when we drafted him, everyone thought our kicker problems were gonna be solved, boy were we wrong.
I concur. How 'bout that awful squib quick after the TD. P.S. Do we really not have anyone who can kick an extra point other than Nugent?
Nugent is an average kicker, but definitely not worth a 2nd. Now he hurts his leg, misses a big kick, and we have to win a game with no kicker.
Yeah, and our Punter is a former Aussi-Footballplayer, wich means he unlike to most other Punters in the League never was a Kicker in his life.
I dont hate Nugent. After every season, he always has solid numbers as a kicker. Of course, he starts the season off like shit, which usually sticks in everyones minds
Dude planted his leg wrong.. no need to kill him on it. If he shanked it and didn't get hurt, I'd be on him.
nugent got injured kicking the ball, its not like any1 tackled him and hit his leg. thats strength and conditioning right there. that also shows his lack of work ethic. i hate everything about this guy
Absolutely ludicrous, uncalled-for statements. Nugent has been a steady guy for several seasons. He's not perfect, but he's gotten the job done. Now he injures himself and you want his head.
Wow.. way to hate on a guy that didn't do anything to warrant it. He got hurt. Shit happens. And this whole draft business.... like it was Nugent's fault he got picked in the 2nd... like what, should he have declined being selected? Misdirected anger.
What team carries a backup on the roster on game day?? I'm guessing none of them with the exception of those kickers that are dinged up from the week before or in practice, or if the kicker is inconsistent and they are looking at other options. No reason why we should have used a roster spot for a backup kicker.
