If the Pats fave been crushing their fans souls, what have the Jets been doing to their fans for the lasts 40 years.

18-1* - That pressure you feel in your chest when you hear/read that... that is your soul being crushed.

okay, that's a little better, certainly no brilliant insight, but at least an opinion worth taking the time to compose and hit send.

Still don't understand why you have such a hard on for Jets fans rooting for the Jets on a Jets message board, though. Have you thought about spending some of your free time looking for a woman? They're all over the internet.

    Blood in blood out

:jets:Its actually pleasing to me that things in the Football world haven't changed a bit. The Rodney Danger-fields of football still get no respect even when great strides are met and conquered during the off-season. Joe Theisman can talk trash because he's got a ring. I have my fears that Brett will ad lib on every other down , but I'm confident that he's enough of a professional to make the right decisions. :jets:

AND there you have it folks, JET fan logic at it's best. "Look at us, we just won the off-season championship for the 40th time in a row!!!" Real games this weekend, reality is back.

Are you proud of yourself? How witty of you. Next time try not putting words in my mouth Padawan learner!

What do you know of Jets fan Logic? Personally I like being doubted and the under-dog!

I think we are on the same page here. I don't really know, but even though you are probably right about Favre making WR better (by the way I'm not sure if that number isn't actually close to or at 100% ... I really can't think of any GB WR that played much in GB then went on to higher success elsewhere in the last 20 years, with possible exception of Robert Ferguson?), I still think WR in GB are better over all also. The depth of WR in Green Bay is probably unparalleled in the entire league, not just Jets (except maybe the Lions, who seem to like to spend their first pick on WR every year, but the rest of team suck so much that they never get to actually do much lol). But again, that impression too may be artificially inflated because Favre has always been very good at spreading the ball around, due to his ability to do multiple reads/check back on 2nd & 3rd windows, etc.

The OL? I simply can't say. With the FA that Jets added this year it looks very good on paper, but I can't say anything more until they really play (and it's troubling they didn't get much of a run game going in preseason). But OL in green bay is not chopped liver by any stretch, it is also good. They'll need to be on Monday night, to hold of the nasty Viking defensive line while Rodgers will likely take forever to get rid of the rock. If the GB OL passes that test, then I'm going to have to back off on calling the Jets line better, pretty much no matter how well they play Sunday against Miami.

Tom Brady has thrown touchdowns 5.4% of the time.
Tom Brady has thrown a pick 2.4% of the time

Brett Favre has thrown a TD 5.1% of the time
Brett Favre has thrown a pick 3.3% of the time.

Peyton Manning has thrown a TD 5.7% of the time
Peyton Manning has thrown a pick 2.8% of the time

    And for shits and giggles;

Pennington has thrown a TD 4.3% of time
Pennington has thrown a pick 2.9% of the time.

Well, we can't all be bandwagon front-runners like you. You go back to 2003 with the Pats or all the way back to 2001? Jet fans are real fans, we don't go and buy new hats and jerseys when another team gets good.

This is coming from the man who once referred to Miami University as "The M". Theisman is an idiot. Nice leg by the way. :manning:

The funny part is that Grogan fool calls us bandwagonners and says we keep winning the offseason championship, yet the Jets have never had bandwagon fans and have never done a lot in the offseason. I wonder if Grogan was even a Pats for for their third ring.

How many Favre bandwagon fans do you have running around now or was this always a Jet/Green bay board??? Please, it's going to be daily fun watching Jet fans deal with reality this season, I can almost hear the crying now,, "but, but, but, we have Brett Favre!!!" How can we be this bad, Skip Cluless picked us to win the Super Bowl.!! what happened,, no one told me that Kris Jenkins never played NT before!!! How old is Alan Fanica again?? We spent what???? It's going to be great fun to watch, I can't wait.

So wait, you are basing it on 1 month and 1 player?

Once again, where are all the fans in NE prior to Parcells?
