Jets only drop that low if Favre goes on IR.

How many games would the Patriots win if Brady had season-ending surgery on his foot ?

The answer to your one question...is the Jets lost 7 games by 7 points or less...

    Peace!

Is there anything more that jets Fans can do, other than insult people that don't belive the "OFF-SEASON FANTASY" that Jet fans have created for themselves? You guys act like if you call people enough names it will change the reality of this Jet team. Sorry but no matter how many names you want to call me this isn't anything more than 500 team at best. Belive all the Favre hype you want, the reality is he'll cost the Jets as many games this year as he wins, but don't worry, I'll be here all season to talk you through it.

All right, Grogan, we get it. You don't like the Jets, and you think fans of the Jets who populate and contribute to a message board dedicated to the Jets should keep their optimistic opinions about the Jets to themselves. They won't, see if you can understand the part about this being a JETS message board. I know, it offends your sense of reality. Go away already or at least come up with some new fucking material.

What like heart breaking losses like the one the Pats choked on last January? Yeah, maybe you are onto something here.

I do not understand why you wish to tarnish a very good QB's name, in that of Grogan, by being such a troll.

Without having listened to that piece, I'm guessing that Joe is basing his opinion on the fact that Brett hasn't had much time under center with the Jets and feels there's gonna be a lot of rust to work out and chemistry that has yet to develop.

I disagree with him though. I expect the Jets to win their 1st and 4th games and wouldn't be surprised if they play very competitively with SD and NE. With a little luck, maybe they can steal one of those games....

Someone who coined the phrase '4th Ringed' shouldn't be so hasty to rid ourselves of moron Pats trolls. He gives us new material every day to destroy him with when his team inevitably crushes his soul. Just ask him what his next username is going to be, or maybe directly insult him, and he'll keep giving us priceless quotes to 4th Ring him with again in the future.

This is not the first time Theismann has ripped the jets since Favre has been here. I will not stoop his level and rip him back. I will just say that time will prevail and prove him wrong!

But it's so much fun to rip Theisman. He's a total idiot. I mean, Jets commentary excluded, he's just so wrong about everything he blabs about. ESPN couldn't even keep him employed.

Well I don't think I called you any names but if you say so. You have completely ignored every fact thrown at you in this thread and gone on an anti Jets rant on a Jets message board. I am generally very pessimistic with this team but I felt pre Favre they were a .500 team. I know this team is in better shape with Favre than with Chad. The Jets were in most games they lost last year and played the Pats very good for 6 out 8 quarters last year. I disagree with you that Favre will lose as many games as he wins, I don't think he single handidly loses one game for the Jets but he will single handidly win at least 2. It's ok though Favre has been proving people like you wrong his whole career and I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss that he won't do it again this year.

Theismann and his team did something the Jets couldn't do- defeat the Dolphins in the 1982 postseason.

Theismann directed the Redskins to a come-from-behind victory over the Dolphins in Super Bowl 17.

I can't compare GB to NYJ because I don;'t know enough about NYJ. But I do know GB. That you state Franks was #1 TE in GB last year (something you are wrong on -- it's Lee, not even close actually, Bubba hardly caught many balls) pretty much invalidates your authority on all the other comparisons. If you'd actually watched many GB games, you would have never said that. So you haven't', and therefor you probably aren't in any better position to compare the teams than I am (meaning really not at all).

That Grogan guy was kinda close. If you change that first 4 to a 2, then it becomes 242 to 228. So, yeah.

Come on dude...seriously. You came on a JETS fansite, espousing all that's negative and you expected to be treated with kid gloves. That's like me wearing my Jets gear at Oakland's McAfee Coliseum on Jets-Raiders game day and thinking I'll come out alive. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!

If it makes you feel any better I'd disagree with his assesment as well.

The Jets OL on paper is better than what the Packers was last year. Honestly they could be much better.

I'd think the run games are pretty even but the addition of Tony Richardson should by no means be overlooked to improve the Jets.

I'd take both Green Bay WR's over the Jets WRs. Although one thing I have always noticed is how much better Favre makes his WRs. Not too many guys have had too much success without Favre ie; Antonio Freeman, Javon Walker, Bill Schreoder. My bet is if you look at all the WRs that have played with Favre I'd bet 85% of them had their best seasons with Favre.

TE: Donald Lee had a breakout season last year but I wonder how much of that was because of Favre. I'd expect Lee to come back to reality this year but until that happens he is better than anybody the Jets have at this point.
