It is NOT nationally televised. Only 44% of the country is getting it. If you are lucky to be in that 44% bracket you are in fat city. It is CBS PRIME 1PM EDT game. It is not a NATIONAL game like MNF or Sunday nite FB

Exciting news for the fans of the Jets in Wisconsin who have been following the team since 2001! WOOOO!!! FUCK YEAH!

I wish it was this way every year.

I don't think people just took the OP's post for law and didn't click the link. fenwyr's local area is Vegas, hence he gets the game locally. Which is why he isn't going to be hitting the bar. I think it is pretty obvious that the game is not being broadcasted nationally.

I thought it was pretty obvious that I didn't mean like MNF. I meant it was the default game for about 90% of the country that doesn't have a local game.

You will almost never see a 1pm or 4pm Sunday game between 2 east coast teams on the west coast. To have them in the opening slot for the first week of the season out here is unprecedented.

Yup. The cynicism started to lift away during the second half of the Denver AFC championship game up 10-0, then the wind blew the ball back to the Broncos and you know the rest. When we lost the Mud Bowl I was 15 and not that scarred yet.

Dangit. We're the only market in the region not carrying either the Titans or Jets game. We get stuck with the NE-KC game, which won't be a bad game to watch, it's just the principle. I suppose I could go in my back bedroom with the little tv and hope and pray the Columbus, MS station comes in as it does at night, but I won't hold my breath. That or I'd have to get on the roof, buy a rotor and swing the mast antenna 180 degrees and hope and pray.

un fuckin believe able. the northern chunk of SC gets the stupid Pittsburgh game. If i was to go 2.5 miles north to someone elses house in NC i would get the Jets game. Off to the sports Cafe on Sunday.
