Ok RaiderJoe, I'm just curious as to what your season predictions are for your Beloved Raiders who you claim are going to "destroy" the jets???
I'll bet he says anywhere from 16-0 to 12-4. I don't know what is more ridiculous. That or the S+M wear they wear over there in the Gay area.

11-5 . Lets see when you can run the ball consistantly well(already proved that last year)(way better than Jets) + Play great defense(defense is way beter than Jets) + very soft schedule = you should be a playoff team.
And you say we are dreaming by predicting 11-5 or 12-4? You left out the fact that the Jets QB, offensive line and receivers are WAY better than Oakland's.
Tell me how your Oline is better than Raiders. You don't even know how effective your Oline going to be. Raiders oline already proven itself to be one of the best olines run blocking. Jets Qb(only this year) and WR might be better, but Raiders sucess is not going to be depended on its passing offense this year. Everything Raiders do on offense revolves around the running game. Again a team can run the ball consistantly well anD Play very good defense and your going to be right there for playoffs. That formula has proven to be alot more sucessful, than the formula your team is trying to construct. Jets have to be able to run the football this year. So Far this preseason they have struggled in that area. The Jets offense not the Patriots. There wRs aren't that good. Good Luck trying to be a pass first team with a 38 year old Qb. Too many hits he will take, and hes not making it through the year.

You run because you have no choice. You have an NCAA Division II level passing game. You averaged 4.1 yards per run last season; only a bit better than the 3.8 yards the jets earned. You also rushed for less than 20 yards more per game and your vaunted defense allowed more rushing yardage than the Jets.
This thread is proof that the best time of year to be a Jets fan is the pre-season. So fresh, so full of hope. Even I got suckered into predicting 10-6 against all my better instincts.
Week 1 @ Miami - win Week 2 vs. New England - loss Week 3 @ San Diego - loss Week 4 vs. Arizona - win Week 5 - BYE Week 6 vs. Cincinnati - win Week 7 @ Oakland - win Week 8 vs. Kansas City - win Week 9 @ Buffalo - loss Week 10 vs. St. Louis - win Week 11 @ New England - loss Week 12 @ Tennessee - loss Week 13 vs. Denver - win Week 14 @ San Fransisco - win Week 15 vs. Buffalo - win Week 16 @ Seattle - loss Week 17 vs. Miami - win Final Record: 10-6 (9-7) <--changeable via weeks 6-8) we always lose at least one game we should win_
Is this RaiderJoe guy for real? I honestly did not think that the Raiders had any fans. I just thought Gangmembers were the ones that bought all the Raider gear and pretended to be fans. Well you learn something every day.
Are you serious????? Your going to try and compare your Running game(one of the worst in NFL_reason you spent so much this offseason on the OLine, to one of the best run blocking team. Where Jets kept there average at best Rbs, Raiders upgraded their RB position. (Mcfadden and Bush) Put It this way J Fargas is way better than T jones or l Washington. Thats not even throwing in the Potential ORoy mcfadden- whose obviously going to put average yard per carry alot higher. So far this preseason jets still can't run the ball. Raiders had the third ranked defense in 2006. Last year they dropped down alot due to injuries. Lets see when you have the best secondary in football(jets secondary a Joke in comparison) Best cover Lbs in the game(way better than Jets) and a way better pass rush(than Jets). That is not good quality to have with the holes you have in secondary. Jets had been dissapointing this preseason stopping the run.(although judging preseason games can be misleading) One good thing this preseason has done is knock down jet fans unrealistic, almost comical opinion that jets could have a top five defense. Again No top five defense has as many holes on its defense, as the Jets do.
Congratulations. A Jet fan who after first five weeks isn't going to be dissapointed. (after he realizes already his unrealistic prediction can't come true. Jets are making three long trips to the West Coast. Jet fans are counting them for 3 wins. Thety will be lucky if they win one.
I knew this thread was going to get hijacked by Jeaux. I KNEW IT!! Hey Jeaux, there's really only 1 answer to your 11-5 prediction of the Oakland Raiders this season.
