I have his Jersey. I am a huge John Lynch fan.... sign him a one day contract, milk him for the Pats knowledge and then release him.

Only -- and I mean only -- if by mid-season we are decimated by injuries.

Because of this, he'll sign with somebody by week 4.

Just look at this Play and you know he can?t play in this league anymore: http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80a336bb

He was by far the last guy downfield (expet the Kicker, and he wasn?t far behind), and then was in Pefect position, to make the Tackle, but couldn?t catch the returner, despite he had about 8 yards on him and the Returner fully stopped and had to pick up speed again and there was even the Sideline to help Lynch.

If the CS thinks he will upgrade our team then he should be signed immediately

According to todays daily news, the Jets are looking at the possibility, but according to Belicheat, they may bring him back. Rumor is they will resign him after the 1st, when his contract would not be guaranteed.
I don't want his old ass!

Fuck no. He is washed up. Our safeties are just as good or BETTER than the Patriots' safeties. If he couldn't make their squad, he can't make ours.

I was just reading that the Bucs have released Eugene Wilson, he might be worth taking a look out, he can play both corner and safety i think, and i remember him returning a INT for a TD against us last year, worth taking a look at him?

Hopefully no one picks him up so he can't snub Rhodes from making the pro-bowl!

He's old and slow but can still tackle. I'm gonna have to say we pass only because I think either Eric Smith or Abram Elam will step up this year.

Nah he's a below average safety these days. He would be out of the league already if it wasn't for his reputation.
