I think a Cubs win tonight or tomorrow takes us to 9 straight series wins. Not that I want to jinx it, but that's pretty OK.

Wow Soriano is a moron..... a routine fly ball and he does his stupid hop and completely misses the ball. Hopefully for the Cubs it doesn't hurt them.

Minnesota -178 lost 3-2 to Seattle. Rowland threw another good game. Arizona -260 got hammered by San Diego, 9-2. Webb gets battered around. They were my survivor pick. So after 22 straight, I have 2 straight misses. Kansas City -125 loses once again, 2-1 to Texas. Two nights in a row I missed with them. LA Dodgers -220 lose to Washington, 2-1. Pathetic. Collin Balester shuts 'em down. Yankees -173 lose 7-3 to the Red Sox. Last two nights have been huge for upsets
Angels -275 lost to the A's, 6-5. So after a 22 game win streak, I now have a three game losing streak. Angels were my Survivor pick. Dodgers -168 lost to the Nationals, 5-4 (notice the Nationals pulling off big upsets lately) Yankees -133 lost to the Red Sox, 11-3. Tigers -152 lost to the Indians, 9-7. Diamondbacks -190 lost to the Padres, 5-4
Astros beat the Reds, 3-2, earlier today. All three runs by Houston were from solo shots. Two from Ty Wigginton.
Anyone else note that the Rays, with their .611 winning percentage and 3 game lead for the AL East, drew 12,678 for their game last night? What a joke, and exactly what I predicted months ago.
Rockies -155 lost 9-4 to the Padres (Padres were my survivor pick; Peavy was originally scheduled to pitch, not Geer) Twins and Liriano -156 lost 3-2 to the A's. Diamondbacks and Dan Haren lost 6-2 to the Dodgers Tigers -195 lost 13-3 to the Royals Cardinals -118 lost 8-5 to the Astros Indians -185 lost 4-3 to the Mariners Cubs -137 lost 5-2 to the Phillies and there's more
question for my fantasy baseball team Does anyone know if Justin Duchscherer, Jonathan Sanchez, and Chris Young will pitch again this year and, if so, when?
Mets will send three lefties to face the Brewers. Prince Fielder has struggled vs. lefties. Unfortunately, Zambrano is out for today, so Sean Marshall starts against the Phillies.
Duchscherer is expected to be activated for a start on September 6th (Saturday). Chris Young is starting tomorrow in LA. Sanchez is starting tomorrow in Coors Field.
33 year old Alberto Castillo just hit two straight batters to force in a run. He then proceeded to walk the next guy to force in another. Rays 6th Brian Burres pitching: Ben Zobrist: Ball, Ball, Ball, Zobrist walked. Jason Bartlett: Strike looking, Bartlett singled to shallow left center, Zobrist to second. Randor Bierd relieved Brian Burres. Shawn Riggans: Ball, Riggans reached on fielder's choice to third, Zobrist out at third, Bartlett to second. Justin Ruggiano: Ball, Bartlett to third, Riggans to second on wild pitch, Strike swinging, Strike looking, Ball, Foul, Ball, Ruggiano struck out swinging. Alberto Castillo relieved Randor Bierd. Akinori Iwamura: Ball, Strike looking, Ball, Foul, Iwamura hit by pitch. B.J. Upton: Upton hit by pitch, Bartlett scored, Riggans to third, Iwamura to second. Carlos Pena: Strike looking, Foul, Ball, Ball, Ball, Pena walked, Riggans scored, Iwamura to third, Upton to second courtesy of sportsline
 He walked Baldelli too! So that's 2 HBP and 2 walks in 4 batters. Impressive relief appearance. What relief?
Sabathia threw a 1 hitter today and the Brewers are apparently appealing the ruling that it was a hit. Anyone know if there has ever been a no hitter declared retroactively like this?
My point was that if he fielded it correctly and threw out the batter, the scorekeeper would have never come into play here.
