I missed the first 2 preseason games, so I'm not the best person to comment on this, but I wasn't impressed with Carroll's returning skills in the time I did see him. Did he have success on kickoff returns? Anyone have any idea about what his avg for returns was? I'm just scared off by the comments by all the GB fans about he's a pass interference penalty waiting to happen, so hopefully he won't see any time at CB.
He ran angrily, as if he had a personal problem with every ST player trying to tackle him. That impressed me. His returns usually hit the 30-40 yard marker. He has great speed. His coverage skills are the problem, but he's covering the #4 WR, I'm not going to worry.
