    Grogan?

I see you say you are an NFL fan, not a Jets fan. Thats a certainty. Is that Grogan for Steve Grogan maybe? Former Pats qb, you are a joke

This Jets team is for real.

Great line. Great WR's. Good RB's. Solid TE's. And a pro-bowl QB. If they can get stops and keep the defense fresh by sustaining drives, this team can go 13-3.

Teams led by Brett are in every single game. He's gotten beaten by double digits only a handful of times in 17 years. He'll keep the Jets in virtually every game against any team.

Being a sports fan is about believing, believing is everything and if your a sports fan, but @ the same time... Don't have the heart to believe your teams dream... then it's simply pointless to even be a fan of a team because you will always be negative 24/7.

I guess your one of those banwagon fake Boston fans huh Grogan? I bet you only started to believe in the Patriots after Tom Brady became the starting QB because before Brady and BB... The Patriots have always been known as the laughing stock of the AFC East, just to let you know

I guess your one of those fans who became a Red Sox fan AFTER they won their first world series well guess what buddy... Jet fans are different, we believe and we love the game of football, no matter what, win or loser, we will be pumped up for Sundays each and every week...Thats what makes Jet fans so great.

I can bet my bottom dollar... You would have been a little loser last year before the season started with the Giants fans, I bet you would have been telling this this and that, just SHUT UP already because it's clear to see that you have problems dude...I bet you would have tried to bring Giants fans down next year for "Believing" and "Dreaming" Telling them that the Patriots are just "Better" Just remember buddy... That the Patriots pulled a choke job last year, they will always be known as cheaters who stole signals from other teams and they will always be known as the Greatest team that just COULDNT get the job done and perform under pressure, lol, I love it... When Congress gets involved, you KNOW it's bad, I just think it's sad.

Let me ask you some questions tough guy
    - Some Real Question...

    #1-Who will be replacing A.Samuels?

#2-Who is the #1 starting CB this year? Please dont say Hobbs because I would just die

    #3-Who will be replacing R.Colvin @ LB?

Hopes and dreams are great, but I wasn't pretending my team was going to be great when Tommy Hodson was my starting QB. So you can jump up and down, go crazy like you do every off-season, then watch as reality sets in as the real games begin. As for your questions go, I won't even bother answering them because you simply don't want to know the reality of them, on second thought that's not it, you just want to belive the Pats have these major holes. Let me ask you this, what happens when the season starts and they aren't there? I would guess it's going to be really hard for guys like you when you'll be watching this season and wondering why Favre can't abuse that "weak Pats secondary", or why your RB's can' dominate those "old, slow LB's". Stick around, it's going to be fun to watch.

To be fair to Grogan, toolshed he may be, the Pats are still very obviously the team to beat. At best the Jets closed the gap some, not really very surprising considering the gap was more of a yawning chasm.

I don't think you are capable of new material, unless you are talking about drool.

It's true... Last I checked... The Patriots lost one of the best CB's in the game and one of their more talented LB's in R.Colvin! They also lost Stallworth this past offseason! Stallworth may not have had a career year last year but @ the same time... The man was a deep threat on every down and also was a huge reason why Welker had the success that he had.

Let me ask you some questions... Even though your to chicken chit to answer them...

Who is better? Favre or Pennington? A HOF QB or a Noodle arm? Exactly

Who is better? Alan Faneca, a great starting LG or Will Montgomery? hahaha

Who is better? Hobson or Calvin Pace? Yup, thought so!

    Robertson or Kris Jenkins? ahhahaahaha

Look, Thats only 4 positions where the Jets have gotten better... I can go ON AND ON... But 1st I wanna see your answers to those questions!

The fact of the matter is this... The Jets are getting better and adding solid players while the Patriots are losing players such as Stallworth, Colvin, Samuels, lets not forget to mention that the Patriots are getting older on the defensive side of the ball and you know what NFL stands for right? Not for long! It wont be long before the Patriots need to rebuild that aging defense...

Gholston or Bryan Thomas? hahaha... Lets not forget that Revis and Harris were both rookies last year, wait till this year... I can go on and on... The fact of the matter is this, the Jets are getting stronger, the Patriots are feeling the SB hangover loss and your just to blind to see it.

Answer my questions, if not... STFU

Are you serious? Did the Patriots really sign Victor Hobson in the offseason? hahaha, I hope it's true because if it is... If Hobson is a starter on the Patriots defense, that just goes to show how WEAK the Patriots defense is this year! Victor Hobson? wow... Enjoy a Jets leftover!

Things are really changing in the AFC East!

How many snaps has Brady taken in the preseason so far? Zero?

    Not good!

how about a dose of sanity and reality in the same syringe......

we are going to have trouble enough beating the fish next week, forget the pats.....i will be shocked if the jets beat the pats in week 2 - regardless of the preseason performances.

until the jets D shows they can get after the rock (turnovers), make the third down stop, and be stout against the run, they are not beating the upper quality AFC teams - and there is a formidable list of them - pats, colts, bolts, browns, jags.....

hey - they may show that early, they may not. if gholston is any indication he wont be a factor for a while. it would have been nice to see him come in like abraham did in 2000 and be effective getting after the QB before he got hurt.

last year the pats brought in several new guys - similar to this years jets - BUT their guys were mostly skill position guys - most of the new jets are line players that take longer to adjust to a new team.

not putting water on the fire here but we have to look at it without the funny glasses.

Wow...I just wanted to bump the thread up!

Let me add two players to my list, who can help this Jets team win the AFC East!

    Stuckey (The perfect slot WR)

    And

Dwight Lowery! This kid looks like he's going to be a play-maker for years to come!

    1-0 Jets!

I'm just as excited as you. We will beat the Pats now that Brady is banged up.

I've been saying for a while that I thought this would be a transiton year for the NFL and that a lot of predicitons would get screwed up, so far so good.

But please do not forget that our beloved Jets are just a few injuries away from being an also-ran.

I am too superstitious to name names, but you know who I mean.

But abso-toot-ly, the Jets are in the mix for the championship this year.

Show us how good you are at filling this hole you meat whistle. You won't even read this post 'cause you (like Brady) are surely gone for the rest of the season. It will be nice to be rid of you smug Pats trolls. :pats_suck:

I think we can win the AFC east, too. I'll have a better idea once it's confirmed how long Tom Brady is out.
