    Why did they throw to the plate? The run had already scored.

    If nothing else, we've made the Phillies bullpen throw a lot of pitches and innings the last two days.

    I like that we had all the lefties against him. Lidge is very hittable against lefties. Righties can't touch him.

    I will now root for the Cubs at least for a few days.

    I have three of their infielders on one of my two fantasy teams. Both of those teams are in 1st place and the only teams that clinched playoff spots. The funny thing is that there are a couple players on both of my teams who I wouldn't recognize if they fell on me. The other funny thing is I didn't play fantasy baseball in 2007.

    Oh, and I knew the Mets would win tonight.
