The problem is not what you are saying, it is the time that you are saying it. The guy hasn't played a down in an NFL regular season game yet. It is ridiculous that a rookie at any position has to be producing in the preseason to justify there draft status, as many(including you) are suggesting. If he is not making progress by wk 4, which is still way to early to evaluate a rookie, then I may start to worry.
I'm not saying it's a the end of the world, or that he's a bust or anything, I'm simply saying that he has done none of the things that that sold him as a top 10 pick in the draft yet. So yes there should be concern, and I'm pretty sure there was alot of concerns with M. Williams his first year also. So Jet fans saying there's no need to be concerned is a bit foolish, of course there is.
