So, for Pace..."umm...it's one preseason game"

    For Gholston..."I haven't seen it...I'm a little worried."

    Seems a little inconsistent.

Pace is big and relentless. That's a great combination.

On one of his sacks he must have tried 4 or 5 moves on the LT before he got his hand on the QB. It was a great display of power, skill and tenacity.

You must be speaking of the play when he forced his lineman back about 5 feet, then put a nasty spin move into action and sacked the QB?

Pace had several good plays during the game but yes, that's the one I was thinking about. It was just a clinic on how a DE can own a LT.

I guess Parcells was right about the guy being a beast. Good thing we outbid them.

Absolutely. Did you notice his hand work on that play? He uses his hands very well.

New contracts always seem ridiculous. Thanks to the constant escalation of the cap, contracts escalate yearly and fans react by criticizing contracts that seem absurd for players of a certain caliber. If he plays well, Pace's contract will likely seem low when he's 2 years into it. If he's average, give it those same 2 years and his contract will seem to match up perfectly.

His grip is so strong, once he got a handful of the QB's jersey it was all over. He was able to pull him down with just one arm.
