Again If you believe Raiders played their typical offense last night, than you don't know what your talking about- Raiders went out of their way to throw the football yesterday.(work on that part of their game)
Fargas Ran the ball for 3 yards on 1 carry. M Bush basically ran ther ball on short yardage situations. 5 for 10 yards (again your yards per carry average in tghose short yardage situations is not going to be that high. Mcfadden had 12 carrys.

All you have to do is compare their rushes Raiders had in the first two game to yesterday numbers . Big diffrence.

Again MR Moderator you want tgo bet which offense Jets or Raiders does better next year rushing the football. Lets see how confident you are in your offense.

I do not give a fark who has the better run game. I only care about the W

If you want to bet which team has more of those, let's hear it.

And as for your notion that the runs were all on short yardage situations, well you are about to be owned..

    Oakland's rush log:
The highlights in bold are not short yard situations. the ones in red are. This is EVERY run play

    First Quarter

1st-10, OAK11 10:23 J. Fargas rushed to the left for 3 yard gain

1st-10, OAK32 4:02 D. McFadden rushed to the left for 2 yard gain

1st-20, OAK22 0:48 D. McFadden rushed up the middle for 2 yard gain

3rd-18, OAK24 0:04 D. McFadden rushed up the middle for 7 yard gain

    Second Quarter

1st-10, ARI10 9:28 J. Russell rushed up the middle for 1 yard gain

1st-10, ARI19 7:43 D. McFadden rushed to the right for 8 yard gain

2nd-2, ARI11 7:11 D. McFadden rushed to the right for 1 yard gain

3rd-1, ARI10 6:32 M. Bush rushed to the left for 2 yard gain

1st-8, ARI8 5:46 D. McFadden rushed to the left for no gain

2nd-8, ARI8 5:03 D. McFadden rushed to the left for no gain

    Third Quarter

1st-10, OAK29 9:52 D. McFadden rushed to the right for 3 yard gain

2nd-7, OAK32 9:23 D. McFadden rushed to the right for no gain

2nd-10, OAK49 8:04 D. McFadden rushed up the middle for 8 yard gain

3rd-2, ARI43 7:28 D. McFadden rushed to the left for 6 yard gain

2nd-20, ARI47 6:07 D. McFadden rushed to the left for 3 yard gain

    Fourth Quarter

1st-10, OAK22 14:50 M. Bush rushed to the right for 2 yard gain

1st-10, OAK10 4:03 M. Bush rushed to the right for 1 yard loss

2nd-11, OAK9 3:25 M. Bush rushed to the left for 1 yard gain

1st-10, OAK28 0:31 M. Bush rushed to the left for 6 yard gain

Your missing the point I was making with carrys.

M Bush is getting the carrys this preseason. ONe because the guy hasn't played in two years and has to get use to contact again. Two Raiders have to see if he can be the short yardage back.( Again when your running alot in those short yardage situations your yard per c arry average is obviously going to be alot lower. ( So your point is five carrys is enough to draw some kind of conclusion- Okay lmao) Not to mention those rushes wered where guys will be doing something other than playing football.

Mcfadden - had 12 carrys last night Reasaon he getting carrys while a L tomlinson is waiting for the regular season is beccause Mcfadden a rookie and Raiders are looking for certain thingfs. Can he run in traffic and protect the football, and for him to get a feel for the guys blocking in front of him. Raiders will have one of the best rushing attacks in football this year and you don't believe that than your in serious denial.

Couple points. Look where some of those early runs were .
1st-10, OAK11 10:23 J. Fargas rushed to the left for 3 yard gain ( deep in your own territory is like short yardage)

1st-10, ARI10 9:28 J. Russell rushed up the middle for 1 yard gain( IN the red zone short yardage situation)

1st-10, ARI19 7:43 D. McFadden rushed to the right for 8 yard gain(again another short yardage situation in red zone)

B]1st-8[/B], ARI8 5:46 D. McFadden rushed to the left for no gain(again in red zone another short yardage situatioin)

2nd-8, ARI8 5:03 D. McFadden rushed to the left for no gain (another short yardage situation.

These runs are immaterial as that olineman are not going to bd around when regular season starts.

My math is 12 out of 19 runs were in shorft yardagew situations or immaterial sitautions.. Wow 7 carrys is enough to draws any conclusions. Nice try.

3rd-1, ARI10 6:32 M. Bush rushed to the left for 2 yard gain (one rush short yardage)

Fourth quarter . again These oline man are not going to be around for the first game.(point ONe)
1st-10, OAK22 14:50 M. Bush rushed to the right for 2 yard gain

1st-10, OAK10 4:03 M. Bush rushed to the right for 1 yard loss(this isnn't a short yardagew situation deep in your own territory)

2nd-11, OAK9 3:25 M. Bush rushed to the left for 1 yard gain (again deep in hour own territory)

1st-10, OAK28 0:31 M. Bush rushed to the left for 6 yard gain

So bush had one carry last night in short yardage situation. (Oline that going to be there when season starts) Yea you can form any kind olf opinion off that one carry.

BTW Mcfadden probably not going to be the guy to get the ball in the red zone. Thats where you go with the hammer M Bush. D Mcfadden will probably be the Raiders Sproles . Run a pass pattern to clear out some of the traffic in redzone.

Joe, any run when you need 3 or more yards is not a short yardage situation. regardless if you are in the red zone. If you need more than 3 yards, it is not a short yardage situation.

I have never, ever heard anyone with a brain say 1st and 10 is a short yardage situation

Technical you are correct, but when you get that closed for all purposes, it is short yardage situations. Look even if he busted some runs that close to goalline, his average per carry was going to be limited.,(so wouldn't you say you harping on his yard per carry average he finished with, is just a little bogus)

Swing and a miss. 18 yards away from the goal line is not close, Joe.

Again you actually have to watch some football to understand the point I am making. Kid I think they have a class for novice like yourself. Football 101- I think NFl gives that class to help woman have a better understanding of the game.

I think he's taking the long way round and saying that the Raiders suck.

Short Yardage situation- Short yardage is a down with 1 yard or less, needed to achieve the goal. (1st down or a touchdown). We could even be generous and expand it to 2 or 3 yds.

I have no clue wtf you are talking about but let me take a stab at what you meant. You're saying that since the raiders don't need big yds in a situation where they just need 1 yd for a first down. The runner will consequently focus on getting the 2 or 3 yds needed. This special usage (just out there to get the 2 or 3) will limit a backs yds. And obviously if you run a two yd td, you can't bust a 55 yd jaunt and you only end up with 2 yds, further limiting the backs yardage.

But this clearly has nothing to do with anything that was presented before, as only 2 or 3 situations were bona fide "short yardage". The rest were 1st and 10s and for the record being deep in your own territory has nothing whatsoever to do with short yardage. Seriously where do you come up with this shit? You must be absolutley braindead.

Christ you missed the point. You really make me have no faith in my fellow human, and root for it all to end. Its people like you that make life expendable. Your expendable.

    Sad Raider fan.

BTW, I know what you were trying to say - but the way its written, retarded, makes it impossible to take in the information without a grain, make it a pound, of salt.

Also, your analogies will never reach mine, you don't possess the intellect. You're the reason for my elitist thinking. Thank You for being this fake person on the internet, because when I'm here, and you do your shtick - I win. Thanks Joe.

I could have responded to this post by saying, "Jeaux, I don't speak retard." But I chose the high road. And you chose the Male Dirt Road. :rofl2:
