Dear Lord I'm tired of having to hear these two. Aside from Buttle complimenting Revis for 2 straight minutes after a great play by Dwight Lowery (apparently he couldn't tell the difference between a 2 and a 3 on the jersey), and the ever so unwitty banter throughout the game, we had this gem: Leon Washington's bio commented that he liked to relax by watching Planet Earth, the best selling BBC video series on DVD and Blu Ray. The response from Eagle and Buttle? Eagle: In order to relax, Washington watches Planet Earth. Boy, that's deep. Buttle: Well, that's because he's watching it from the moon. Eagle: Pardon? Buttle: Get it? The moon. Because he's really out there. Eagle: Oh. Oh ho ho ho. Buttle: You have to stay on top of things with me. Eagle: I guess so. It took me a moment to realize that they thought he was talking about watching our planet itself rather than the DVDs. How much are they being paid to let everyone in on their idiocy?
they are hokey at times, but Buttle is fair with his assessment of the team. He's not a total homer like other color commentators.
Buttle has the added bonus of sounding like he's a drunk without slurring. I like his wackiness, his enthusiasm is great (you can tell he just loves hard hitting football), and he really knows the game well.
lol hahahaha, its so funny that there is a thread about this but i remember watching that live with my friends, and i have tivo and we actually rewound it to hear that comentary again because it was so funny cause it was so bad, "because hes out there" hahaha
