No big deal. If Favre was in Packers camp he would be throwing a lot less. They would have a guy with a clicker counting his throws and cutting him off. It's his first real action since last season, of course there's going to be some arm fatigue.
If anything - and I mean anything - is 'wrong' with Favre's arm, I will personally rip his arm out of his socket and beat him to death with it. Grand Guignol, here I come.
With all the check down and drag routes the Jets run this could be a nice opportunity for Favre to learn our playbook.
I agree, Throw in the whole whirlwind month he just went through and I am not surprised he is not mentally fatigued as well. I know Brett hes a heck of a lot to learn but I still think he needs a couple of days off just to get his bearings straight.
There will be plenty of time between the final preseason game(i know he wont play) and week one for him to rest the arm. He needs to learn the playbook
Like it matters...if his buddy Strahan can step into camp a coupla weeks before the season and play at a pro-bowl level through the Super Bowl, then so can Burt.
This is NOT a big deal. This has been happening to Favre since the 2000 season. As he gets his arm in shape for the season, it gets a little fatigued. In fact, in 2000, he actually got tendonitis, which was more serious than the current situation. The CS just needs to be smart about how much they have him throwing in practice, and he'll be fine.
