From and organizational standpoint it is a good move for him, BP will make sure he gets utilized correctly something that Shotty failed with miserably. The only problem will be his lack of line and weapons. If he can survive behind that line and that is a big IF it would be a good match for him.

A great day indeed! We just landed at least 2 wins this season...

Miami with no real line, no running game, 1 good receiver and a noodle armed, oft-injured QB with no deep game! The buffet line is open!

I love Chad, And feel bad hes gone. But I hope we beat the Dolphins and a sack on Chad would not be bad either :)

If Jet fans are going to defect, all I have to say is...dont forget your sunscreen.

I find it really funny that the Lolphin fans are going to have to suck it up and root for CP after despising the Jets all this time.

Not this year, but next year? Possible. Depends on how long it takes them to restock this team. He's a 2-3 year band-aid for the Phins while they look for "the" guy. Providing he stays healthy and wins a few games every each year. With a Parcells team I don't expect it to be too long before they are competitive again.

    When did this happen?

I know they drafted a punt returner last year, and Chambers went to San Diego...

    Ernest Wilford??

Disappointing. As a Packer fan, I was really hoping he'd be part of the deal. From what little I know about him, he seems like a real class act. Best of luck to him in Miami.

How do we know there is a "lack of line and weapons" on the Fish?

What's been happening down there to that team? Anybody kept track -- I sure as hell haven't.

What I do know is that Bill Parcells does know what he is doing and he's the mover and shaker down there -- that coach and GM are his guys.

They wouldn't be doing this on a whim, would they?

Nah, they aren't those kind of wimps -- Parcells doesn't go for whims.

I am curious about their wide-outs too... Are they playing this weekend?

Well the good thing is that he has enough time to learn a new offense as Brett Favre does :) Let's see how "cerebral" chad is.

    From Finheaven...

It's like visiting the Chiefs site when Herm left. Some are ecstatic, the others know the deal, and are....less than enthusiastic.

The line is still eh, slightly better than the line he had last year, but still shit.

The weapons are.... they'll get some sooner or later.

that defense is still a joke, and they lost their two leaders. With no new ones to step up. I can't name anyone on that secondary that is of note. Channing Crowder is the only guy who is a centimeter above average.

They are the Jets of last year and people are now scared that Chad is their QB? What is wrong with you people? He went 1-8 with this team last year. So he's going to beat the Jets with that team this year. He'll lose twice and we can enjoy it. Get over it, its business.
