    I quoted a post that said the same "excuse" was made previously and the defense ended up playing poorly in the regular season. I simply said just because a defense, or team, looks bad in the pre-season doesn't mean that's what the actual defense, or team, will look like come regular season.

    Everything else you wrote is well and good, but you're talking about something completely different, based off an assumption YOU made about my statement.

    Because they have him playing a zone.
    They aren't going to blitzing on many Plays in Pre-season.
    Also, he does have to play coverage at that LB position.

    BTW, Anyone else notice how Chatham always looks good in preseason.
    I like that kid.
