I like what i see so far.
Good OL push. Clemens should have gone over the top on the QB sneak.
On the Browns pass in the flat it looked like Miller was blocked while the ball was still in the air.

    10-0 Ravens!

    Patriots getting blasted

Figurs with a 52 yard punt return that gave it to the Ravens 1st and goal at the 2. A minute later, 10-0

Dumb question but is it the league or refs that call the game? I thought lightening strikes or maybe thunder was an automatic cancellation in the pre-season?

did anyone else think the interference call on Miller was a poor call, or is it my "homer goggles" talking?

not sure who makes the ultimate call, but i'd venture to guess it's discretional, followed by a time limit.

It was an awful call. The only thing they could have possibly said was that he wasn't looking at the ball, but the ball was way down field and it was too early to look at it. The receiver knocked him over. If anything it was offensive pass interference.

I've been watching this too. Brady and Moss aren't playing. Have to admit the Pats' 1st Rounder Mayo looks beastly.

they just said that in 10 minutes the ref will come back out and assess the situation. if he thinks its okay to play, he'll go meet with the head coaches, and each team will have 10 minutes max to warm up.

that's what i saw too: the ball way out in front of them both, and Edwards basically stampeded Miller. and on top of that, it appeared as if the ball was so overthrown, that it may have been uncatchable but that's walking a fine line.

not sure if this pertains to the pre-season, but do refs know the common culprit? like, we know Miller has having a propensity to commit interference; do the refs know this too and therefore are biased to make that call? or does that only apply to more well known/superstar players?

I couldn't see it because there was a weather warning crawl across the bottom of the screen! Buttle mentioned it might be a bum call, but didn't harp on it, so I dunno.
