...I don't think we're kidding ourselves. Most coaches don't like to give anything away. Plus, it's the pre-season. The score doesn't really matter. We just want to see good things from the new guys and we want to see who's going to perform at the second corner spot, free safety, and slot receiver. Things will fall into place in the next few weeks.
That was a 4.5 - 5 yard gain on first down. The run game has been better than last season so far. That first down on third and short was nice to see.
well, some encouraging signs so far: ol is a bunch of mashers. they seem to have acquired a new mean-streak or something. they get 3 yard pushes on every run. that's saying something given that shaun rogers is on that line. man's not easy to move. the pass protection is pretty good.
This will probably be the last drive for the offensive starters. We should see a lot more of Clemens though.
i bet it's nothing to worry about. probably some minor "injuries" that aren't worth putting those guys in and having it end up as a much worse situation keeping them out for way longer.
I just got home, what did I miss? How long into the game was the delay? edit - How did the browns score?
still delayed with like four minutes and change left in the first. EDIT: braylon edwards sick TD catch. beat revis. pushed off of him. 2 yrd catch i believe.
what the hell?! are you serious?! i'd rather watch it rain on the damn field then have them cut to big brother!
Big Brother? You'd think they'd come up with something better to use to pass the time during this delay....WHY NOT PUT ON SOME OLD HONEYMOONERS EPISODES OR SOMETHING? I hate reality shows.
If you really want to watch the rain, check out the Sopcast thread in the Jets section of the forum. It's the Brown's feed and they're showing the empty stadium. The rain is not letting up at all, and hopefully no one gets injured tonight
