Sadly, this is probably what we look like to a mid-westerner.

Looks like Bill Glauber, the admitted former Jets fan, leaves NY and the only job he can get is writing for an online publication out in Milwaukee, Wisconsin? Well woop-tee-fucking do. You've go to be kidding me.

Listen Bill, I'd be bitter too if I had to live in Milwaukee. By the way, you should have stayed in NY to hone your writing skills. You've obviously taken a step backward out there. What's with every sentence being a new paragraph?

So, does everyone on this board agree that if Bret Favre gets off to a terrible start with the Jets that he WON'T get booed mercilessly?

Maybe we could set odds on how long that would take.

Oh, wait... It's Bret Favre! He's never been on a 4-12 team.

Bob Glauber's profoundly retarded stepbrother, most likely.

Whatever. The article really sounds like someone who is a little bitter about something, but not sure what. He says that Jets fans want to be Giants fans (which makes no sense, why not just root for the Giants then?) and then goes on to talk about the great history of the Jets. Weird article.

This is a guy who used to work in Chicago and Baltimore, and is now in Milwaukee. It's hardly surprising that he is now railing against the big bad city when his next job will probably be in Paducah.

You are a Patriots fan and also a douche. If those 2 things can actually be separated.

You'd be bitter too if your nearest Wisconsin "five-star restaurant" was the Chuck-E-Cheese Motel and Miniature Golf Drive-In, located 80 miles from your house.

That was one of the dumbest things I've ever read. There's nothing else to do 10 minutes from Manhattan? But there's a ton of things to do in a self proclaimed "Tundra"?

Tundra definition: : a level or rolling treeless plain that is characteristic of arctic and subarctic regions, consists of black mucky soil with a permanently frozen subsoil, and has a dominant vegetation of mosses, lichens, herbs, and dwarf shrubs.

    Sounds real exciting.

He has no credibility as a fan. The team had a bad spell (albeit a long one) and he changed allegiance as soon as things went south. I'm his age so did I become a Bear fan?
    (no)
