    Well im pretty sure they decided to create those clauses for the draft picks just based on the Madden Curse. So if he doesnt make 50% of the snaps all they get is a 4th......im happy with that, i have faith in Clemens to run a better offense with a better line

    shit, why did u have to remind me of this? Maybe the curse applies more to the team and not the player?!? U never know, this is the 1st season where the player on the cover is on a different team

    Knowing our luck they reprint the madden cover to put Favre in a jets uniform.

    First play of the season - he makes some bone-headed play, then gets crushing season-ending injury. Same old jets. What else is new?

    Naw, that wont happen. They might make it available on-line, but not take the time (or money) to reproduce every cover in time for Aug. 12

    Curse might be broken he will be wearing a different uniform then the cover. One can hope.

    He is not in Green and White so it doesn't count for anything.

    IMO, the Packers just lived through the Madden curse.

    He has already been hit by the Madden Curse. He was rejected by the Packers and has to play for the Jets.

    IDK I Heard he's still gonna be wearing the Packers Uni on the cover so maybe he wont get cursed cause its not real.....Or someshit like that.

    My wife said this to me at 1 in the morning. She almost became a victim of domestic violence! LOL! I contemplated filing an injunction against EA sports this morning, but I decided against it.

    On the mike tirico show they announced EA will release a downloadable cover with Favre in a Jets Uniform to slide in.....the odds are against us for sure

    the Madden curse only applies to Favre in a GB uniform. it won't recognize him in the Jets jersey. downloadable covers don't count.

    It will be interesting to see if the curse is on the player or really just on the team. Because on the Madden cover hes wearing a Packers jersey.
