Clearing Cap?

    Do the Jets have to take anything else (besides Chad) off the books to fit in Favre?

    Also, I think Pennington could be just enough of an upgrade to take the Vikings to the top of the NFC Central (er.. North) and possibly the big game. That team needs a game manager who hands the ball to Peterson mostly.

    Any thoughts?

    I've been wondering about the cap implications myself. I have not heard any talk of re-woring BF's deal signed with Green Bay and I seem to remember his $ numbers being way higher than Chad's.

    Anybody know the specifics of the two contracts and the resulting cap implications?
