Favre, Jenkins, Fanaca, Gholston, Pace... I may be wearing my kelly green goggles today, but I'm so freaking excited about this season I can't stand it. I don't care what the naysayers have to say, there is every reason to believe that this season can be an amazing one. For all the negative nellies, step back and take a breath for a minute, and get excited about this team. There is some solid talent on this team, and I believe that if they can come out of the first half of the season at 4-4 or better, then they have a real shot at a playoff run, because this team should be smoking hot in the second half of the season. It won't hurt to wear the goggles, folks. We're in the eye of the 2008 NFL hurricane. Let's enjoy it! J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!
Yeah it should be fun to watch. I'm making a New Season's Resolution not to use the phrase "Doh!" once while watching the Jets next year. I'm thinking about adding a bathroom clause that let's me use it if I really need too.
Nobody saw the Giants winning, much less making the Superbowl in August of 07'... Now, not for once second am I saying the Jets are going to or winning the SB... But this puts them relevant and at least a possibility.

Not true. There is a lot of homegrown talent. This team is still built through the draft, and some bad holes filled nicely thorugh FA.
I wish I shared your enthusiasm. Vilma and Chad are the kid of guys i was proud to root for. I hate the direction of the Jets right now.
Filling the weaknesses at LG, NT and QB should make for a major improvement. Not many posters were as p1ssed at the FO and CS as me, and I am feeling pretty excited about the 08 Jets today. It should be a fun ride!
Dude you're Mr. Optimism for the Mets and for once the Jets have made a humongous offseason splash and compile this move by UPGRADING the biggest question mark on the team and you hate it? Yeah.
This feels like the 1968-1969 season. Exactly 40 years later we finally have a QB that can achieve Super things. The 2008-2009 season may be a repeat of our only Super Bowl season. Let's hope!
How about: Washington, Cotchery, Coles, Ferguson, Mangold, Moore, Keller, Gholston, Rhodes, Harris, Revis, Ellis and Nugent? All starters drafted by the Jets. How can you not root for Rhodes, Revis and Harris?
I will still root for the Jets. I just think the QB everyone is blowing is a total asshole. I can't stand the guy. I am always optimistic about my teams. I hate this move. I hate Brett Farve. He has been a Jet for 12 hours and people are practically building a statue in NEW JERSEY @ the fancy pants new place. I can't wait to see the reaction when the PSLs come down. They will probably have Mr Jet Brett at the press conference.

how bout a little positive energy? if ever there was a time NOT to be negative, its now. so lets start getting excited about this team. the jets have a lot of good, likeable, talented players on their roster.
