I would have no greater pleasure in life to have to come here in Jan and be proven wrong. None. I want one Sb so I can die in Peace. That's all I ask for.

    Foul.
    Low-blow.

This is a day of mutual celebration and anticipation!
    Great expectations.
    Bittersweet farewells.
    Etc.

lol - it was more friendly ball busting than anything. There was no way you could have anticipated this happening.

Chad will be picked up, will step in immediately, learn the playbook, and right soon... Can you say Minnesota Vikings???

I always thought, even last January, that Chad would be a perfect fit for Minnie.

I think it would also give us the highest chance for draft compensation exceleration.

Who cares what happens to Chad? He's not on the team anymore.

    What a great day!

One can only pray that he's picked up by the Dolphins.

It is? Nothing would make it better? Why, please explain. I'm confused as to how CP ending up in Miami makes this day any better. CP is a good QB and personally I wouldn't be overly excited to play him twice a year.

He still finds ways to win, please remember this. If he starts somewhere, he will win some games that everyone will think he would have lost. This is what you get with CP....

This is what I'm thinking as well. He's vastly better than the crop of never-will-be's that Parcells is collecting in Miami. I think this is a possibility if he is straight up released, which I expect he will be.

Nothing would make it better because Chad is a shell of his former self, doesn't have the arm, doesn't have the play action, gives away too many reads with his eyes, etc. etc- but he's cerebral, don't forget.

CP is an average to below average QB at this point in his career- do I need to point out that he couldn't even distinguish himself against Kellen in the training camp sessions held thus far? He wasn't able to outshine another QB who some of you have already written off as a total bust. Doesn't that tell you something? Isn't the fact that this team went out so aggressively to land Favre an indication as to what they thought of Chad an his inability to bring the team to the next level?

I would cherish the idea of playing Chad in Miami twice a year. Given the team of misfits they've assembled thus far he would just be the icing on the cake. If there's any "sure-win" in our schedule this season it would be 2 games vs. Miami with Chad and his ducks.

I hope Chad has success where ever he goes, he is a stand up guy who always gives it his all. If we can't win next year, i at least hope he does.
