Well they actually stood up to about 10 of my "trollings" before lashing out so I'd have to agree. I went on the Giants MB and just made my presence known and I was murdered on the spot.

So I get out of the Kanye West concert and I get 3 phone calls telling me that Brett Favre is a Jet.

Totally worth the gamble, totally worth having Clemens learn from him, and totally made my birthday fuckin siiiiiiiiiiick.

Yes the Pack stunk when they went 4-12 but the #1 WR (walker) went down hurt in week 1. The starting RB Green was hurt shortly after. Then Ferguson, Gado, Herron and Fisher got hurt. The team was the walking wounded (o-Line was banged up as well) and you had a lame duck coach who knew he was getting fired and gave up.

To place the blame all on Favre is absurd.

BTW: Anyone who doesn't believe this makes us a better team and yes...a legit SB contender...well if you're really a Jets fan you'll love getting proven wrong this season.

I'm now predicting the Jets will be in a wild card, that's assuming y'all dont knock off the Pats

Brett Favre could take a shit in the middle of the field in Week 1 and never show up to play again, and I still would be in favor of this trade. It's an absolutely +EV gamble.

I wonder if Rhodes asks for Favre to sign that football that he dipped in gold after an INT he got...

And really, wouldn't it be worth a 4th-rounder to see that scene unfold?

I actually interviewed Rhodes on my college radio show a few years ago.

Somehow I think Favre is going to be a harder get.

F John Clayton...he may be right that Favre didn't want to come to the Jets, but I don't know if it's the LAST place he wanted to end up. I mean, he wanted to stay in the NFC North, but I didn't see him mentioning the Lions as a place he'd like to go.

The Jets just drastically improved one of the most critical positions on a team. Anyone who is down on this move is trying to be negative.

I won't answer that particular question because you asked a different poster that particular question.

I have a question for you, though.

Why were the Packers so very scared of having to face Brett Favre with him under center in Minnesota?

(Note: if the Jets trade Favre to Minnesota, the Vikings will receive three 1st round draft picks from the Jets per a report from Adam Schefter.)

What feeling is the opposite of getting a free safety lodged in your ribcage after having to go up for a floating deep ball? Because I'd guess that feeling.

I don't think Brett is jumping up and down like a teenage girl at a boy band concert, but once he reports to camp, I have every bit of confidence that he will be fully invested. The guy is a pro and loves the game.
