I am so psyched right now!!! We may not win a SB, but at least we will be interesting to watch. In all honesty, Favre might be dangerous with Coles, Cotchery, Keller, etc...

I haven't bought a Jets jersey in 15 years, but I'll be buying one this week...

Honestly....all the Packers did was send their problem to New York. I'm sure Jets fans are ecstatic that number four will be throwing for the J-E-T-S, Jets Jets. But you have to think there is a NEW QB controversy on the horizon. Not that Favre against QBs, but it's a matter of chemistry. I'm sure both Clemens and Chad have friends on the team who favor them. All this does is a small amount of discord. I'm sure

I'm not thinking Brett is going to make this team a super bowl contender. I'm taking a wait and see approach.

It's gonna be so nice to have a QB who can throw the ball down the field and make EVERY throw.

Brett loves to throw to his TE's. Favre -> Dustin Keller will be sweeet.

Been watching football the past 16 years much? Favre was beloved by his teammates in Green Bay.

I suppose, but this is the NFL we are talking about. There is no way I can believe for a second people like Coles are going to have a problem with this. This guy doesn't seem to care about threatening to sit every other year when he demands more money. After a 4-12 season, I think you'd be open to change.

Wonder if Mangini will make Favre run laps if he screw up during practice, just like everyone else :)

I think it's possible that it could escalate to a 1st if the Jets have a sick year, but that's my suspicion. In that case the pick wouldn't be much different from a 2nd-rounder, anyway.

I can't believe they freaking got him... I was about to hit the rack and wanted to check my email one last time. Holy crap... I'm a bit stunned. These things don't happen in NY. LOL Welcome to NY, #4.

As for who starts against Cleveland - what does it matter? Now prepare for 3-4 weeks of dropped passes as everyone acclimates to the lasers of Brett Favre.
