Yep, for a couple of seasons. Give me a break, every year Favre is gonna retire nothing will change only the NY press will eat him alive and make the Jets lockeroom into a circus.

 

There is a video on the front page of ESPN that says Favre is "likely" to be traded to the Bucs.

 

I'm not sure why so many people here are sold on Clemens as the future...probably the same people who believed Browning Nagle was going to save the Jets too.

 

yeah no shit!! there's some Jet fans on this board that have become so "accustomed" to losing...that they actually SHUN the idea of a proven winner coming to town to bring the team out of mediochrity....it's fucking embarrassing.

I'm not saying Favre is the messiah....but he can make all the throws and he's durable.....two things Pennington isn't synonymous with.

You get the impression that if it comes down to offers Green Bay the most, he's a Jet. If it comes down to where Brett wants to play out of the two, it's Tampa Bay.

Did you guys know the Olympics are starting in less than 2 days? I don't think ESPN has even talked about it. Favre has even taken down the Olympics.
