im literally losing my mind over this. what i would pay to be a fly on the wall in tanny's office right now. what i want to know is why he isnt on a flight to green bay to get this shit done in person. that will keep the bucs from winning this bidding war.

For that conditional pick, this HAS to get done. It's a good deal and washes away any chance of Pennington stepping on the field.

Actually I rather see what Clemens can do. Favre will stay in the NFC where 8-8 will win you the division. I'm not sold that Favre will bring us a SB or take us deep in the playoffs. He can't win the big games anymore, then we'll have to deal with the constant whining about retirement when he chokes in the playoffs. I'll pass.

Get back to your bunker. There's a missing six pack of PBR to be searched for.

I think Manegment has spoken on how they feel about Chad as the starting QB this year.

Man, I can't wait to see the board's reaction when Favre gets traded to TB. To some of us, it's going to be a lot like hearing, "With the ninth pick in the 1995 NFL draft, the New York Jets select tight end from Penn State..." and we all know how that turned out.

I don't think anyone is going to freak out too much, because no one really expected him to come here anyway. It's only this morning that it became a real possibility.

The Packers are in "serious talks" about a trade that would send Brett Favre to the Jets, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

This would be the Packers' ideal landing spot for Favre. Favre's agent, Bus Cook, has conversed with the Jets, indicating his client does have interest in playing for them. An impending trade could be the reason commissioner Roger Goodell has refused to reinstate Favre to this point. Allowing Favre to practice could've crippled the Packers' team chemistry. Stay tuned.

No, I think a lot of people just want this to get passed us; whether he is here or with the Bucs.

I've probably been the most active member of this entire thread. Don't be a smart-ass.

The fact is that Favre was never open to the possibility of playing in New York until today.

and he changed his mind about retiring about 345345 times so why is it surprising for him to change his mind on the thought of playing for the Jets?

Maybe Jackie Slater could help shore up the O-Line.

Exactly. Oh let's not get Favre, let's watch three yard dump offs the rest of our lives and defenses jumping routes and taking passes back to the house all game. That's alot of fun.

Those are the fans who cheered when Chad came up limp last year...they just have a guilty conscience.

What the fuck? This is the second time today you've mutated what I said to the point of no recognition. You really need to work on reading comprehension; right now, you seem a little too eager to score points in a debate that no one is having with you.
