I see they've come out and said there was no tampering involving the Vikings and Favre. They admint there were conversations between the two sides, but that there was no soliciting of a job from either side. Yes, that's right, neither Favre or the Vikings said they talked about a job. They just chat all the time about football because they're such good buds. The NFL should just say based on what Favre and the Vikings told us we have no evidence of tampering. Of course, all of us know, well except for those who believe O.J. is not a murderer, they talked about the possibility.

Favre is turning out to be a real piece of shit in this whole ordeal. If I was Aaron Rodgers I would hire Jeff Gillooly to take out a knee.

Probably because they see that we can't figure out how to post FAVRE news in the gigantic FAVRE thread.

This was about the NFL and tangentially Favre. So you can stop your smart-aleck remarks. And thanks for answering my question.

Goodell is going to be the worst commish in any sport once all things are said and done. He's all about the cover up.

I'd like to give him the benefit but seems though you're right.

So far he has been all about maintaining the "Integrity of the League" yet he's going about it the wrong way.

He should bring out the hammers and stop swatting.

I think David Stern wins the award, with Goodell a close second.

Have you people never head of Gary Betteman, or do you not consider hockey a sport?

I consider it a sport, just don't watch or pay attention. However that league has a lot of problems itself.

I enjoy opening up threads I think are non-Favre threads only to find out it's a Favre thread.

i dislike 'multiple sections' (jets, nfl, game time, draft, blah blah blah) because im lazy and don't like scrolling all over the place to read a thread or two. when someone posts something interesting, i prefer it to be located next to the thread im reading.

it'd be like designating your living room as the only room in your house that you can talk about obama. mccain? gotta move into the kitchen. what's that? paris hilton? sorry, you can only talk about her in the bedroom. sheesh.

i also don't like 'one huge thread' for farve. nothing like reading 147 pages of crap just to find someone's take on someone's thread.

    that's all. i feel better.

It really doesn't matter what anyone thinks at this moment.
But if the News comes on tonight, and they announce that Favre will be in Jets camp on Friday, watch how many "Super Bowl/Favre" threads start to appear.

Everybody's asshole today will be everybody's hero tomorrow.

I agree, and Favre will be everybody's asshole tomorrow in New York. We'll have to wipe up after him, protect him from a good ass-kicking by the media and make his turds look like chocalate eclairs.

The guy has two years left and will cost this club in spades for years after he's gone. What part of this asshole is appealing, seriously?
