am i the only one who thinks brett favre is an arrogant piece of shit...hes retired 3 seasons in a row...look what hes putting the packers through right now...everybody praises him..hes a douchebag...ok yea he has the most tds in nfl history, but look at his interceptions!...at the end of the day he won 1 superbowl and that was what 15 years ago??? how about that interception against the giants in overtime in the title game...forget brett favre...his old ass should retire for GOOD..and he should stop being a bitch...i dont even want him with us...id rather go with Chad

 

whatever deal happens i am sure the league would not allow the jets to deal favre soon after acquiring him.

Sure I wish every Jet could be just like Curtis Martin, But if you need a little attitude to win I'll take it.

 

add in the fact that he didn't want to play for the jets, said as much, and is only contemplating us as a fall back to get out of GB if Tampa doesn't come through and I say F him. Guy has been awful in more big games than he has been great in. Hope management tells him to f off...

Brett Favre thought the idea of playing for the New York Jets was tantamount to finishing his career purgatory. He figured he'd rather retire.

Now the soon-to-be-former Green Bay Packers quarterback has warmed up to the idea, and a source within the Jets front office tells ESPN.com they believe they're not an afterthought anymore in the Favre sweepstakes.

Favre's agent, Bus Cook, told the Sporting News that the Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers "are the two teams out front" and that he expects "something to happen within the next 48 hours."
