Exactly. Another NY radio blowhard that failed gym and now runs his mouth for a living.

Nice to see Adam Shein and Chris Carlin have a new show too, just what we needed more of.

Agreed. People are taking this too seriously. Those two are great. Most entertaining show I have heard in awhile.

"We would laugh," said the Jets' quarterback, who almost certainly would be released or traded if the Jets acquired Favre. "Really, for somebody to do that with a bullhorn, No.1, you're not a Jets fan and you're not interested in the team. You're interested in yourself and bringing light to yourself. So, as players, we would laugh at it."

"What's laughable is the Jets' 4-12 record last year," Carton said by phone yesterday afternoon.

    LOL
Carton got him there. I'll love to get Farve but I think Chad will be OK with our new O-Line.

The guy is a "look at me". No class. This however is a class post nicely researched and there to remind us of this nobody's previous.

Except that 4-12 record had to do with more than just the QBs, so he's not really dead on with it. The Packers went 4-12 with Favre three years younger than he is now.

That what I wanna know. I didn't make it to TC today because my friends didn't get out of work in time. Good thing I didn't go. If Carton did this I would have been in cuffs for assault. The man needs his ass kicked. His name is Carton for christs sake.

I lost all respect for Carton when he interviewed Thomas Jones. "So, why haven't you scored a TD yet?" As if Jones was maling it in and the OL didn't suck. Jones was total class. Carton should be flippin burgers.

Yup. The 4-12 record was all the QB's fault. It had nothing to do with the pitiful OL that couldn't open a hole for a RB or give a QB time. It had nothing to do with a defense that couldn't stop the run or rush the passer and as a result, couldn't cause turnovers or get off the field. I'm not saying Pennington didn't have a bad season, but do you watch anything else but the QB when you watch a game???

And the FO did nothing to improve this team? Instead of fixing the building blocks and foundation of a football team - the OL and Defenseive front 7 by getting Faneca, Woody, Jenkins, Gholston, Pace etc., I guess the Jets should have spent money on some great free agent QB like . . .. David Carr??? Or drafted Ryan???

Show an ounce of football knowledge or give an indication that you watch more than the QB. It is so simplistic to blame the QB. The reason Favre rebounded in 2007 from bad performances in 2005 and 2006 was because the team around him improved tremendously - the OL, the running game, and the defense.

I'm seeing ads for it everywhere, I think it's going to be on SNY. Can't tell you when, it's knowledge I've filtered out if I ever took it in at all.

The QB play is abysmal. The fact that Pennington gets some support on this site, is an absolute joke. Nice guy, no arm. And no arm means not a starting NFL QB. Don't understand why this is so hard for some to understand. All he does is get his WR's hurt by throwing floaters there way.

"all he does is" This statement alone makes your posts completely invalad. What are you 12 yrs old? The people on this board who support Chad remember his WINNING percentage, playoff appearances, and the HUGE heart the guy has on the football field. And you do NOT NEED a strong arm to start in the NFL. Ever occur to you that the guy had a bum ankle last year (yes, players play hurt all the time. Players play until the coach tells them they cant play).

Speaking of "all he does" ALL YOU DO is post negative GARBAGE on this site.

Chad does has to prove he has some of that magic still left in the tank. But if he is going to be named the starter, he will also need some support from his fans. I for one will behind Chad if he wins the starting job. I don't even have to think twice about it. I will also support Clemens if he wins the job. Its not one or the other, its the team!

Chad is a proven winner who only two years ago took us into the playoffs with MUCH less then we have now (no running game at all, no D and NO Oline). All he has done is put everything on the line for the team and fans like you who do not give the guy even the slightest break do not deserve a QB with half the qualities and attributes that Chad brings to the game.

Who the heck are you? I forget more about the Jets in a minute then you know, don't act like you add alot to the table with these wonderful comments.

Go overly support a QB who can't throw a 10 yard pass.
