When will Chad or Kellen be selected by Mangini? I was wondering if anyone remembers last year when word was out that Chad was the starter? I cant wait to find out....
Last year Mangini decided Pennington would be the starter after the 2006 season finished. There was no competition.

I don't have a link to the article, but Mangini was asked this question by a reporter about a month ago. He basically said that there was no date set to pick the starter, and that when someone distinguished them self as the starter he would name them. Sadly, it sounds like the best QB on our roster is a broken down has been as of now.

When Mangini decides there is a QB better than the others. Could be 3 weeks from now, could be after week 4 of pre-season. There is no timetable.
Well in 5 practises Clemens has thrown 5 INT so he is hardly making it difficult for Mangini, Chad has yet to throw a pick, probably because he hasn't thrown the ball over 5 yards but still. Rich Cimini of the NY daily news posted today that Brett Ratcliff has looked the best QB in camp so far.

From reading the camp reports, both of our QB's who are competing for the starting job can't hit the broad side of the barn. With that, good luck Eric in the coin toss.
