Not today. I meant when he's starting the season opener.
You all threw him under the bus going into '06 and what happened? Led us to the playoffs.
You're all throwing him under the bus again, he's 100% healthy (or as healthy as he will ever be) and I think he's going to knock Kellen Clemens out of the race.
Therefore, he will have an opportunity in the near future to prove you all wrong again.
    Chad Lives.

And Jeremy Roenick said he'd never play for the Jets/Coyotes (for all the hockey people out there)

And that's still an unsubstantiated report that he has "no interest" of playing here

The pressure is on the packers, Favre is going to report to camp and they don't want him there. I would expect a move soon.

And it sure as hell isn't going to be Tampa Bay.

Favre to the Jets makes too much sense

I'm still waiting for him to prove me wrong the first time. The guy has at best been mediocre since the end of the 02 season.

    You don't consider '06 a successful year?
    Nor '04?

2004 and 2006 were evidence of Chad's limitations more than anything else. The Jets beat bad teams like a drum in both those seasons and pulled out a single win (Chargers in 04 and Patriots in 06) against elite teams each year while losing a handful of those games.

Put a QB like Brett Favre on the 2004 team and it might have made a difference both in the season and in the playoffs. 2006 was going to be capped no matter who QB'd the team because the lines were weak.

Chad was carried in 04 and played very well in spots in 06 and stunk the joint up in spots in 06. Don't forget Quincy had a better winning % than Chad with the same 04 team.

06 was successful and Chad did about what I expected including his absolute melt down in NE in a tight playoff game. He's a good guy and a bright QB, his arm is shot.

The fact that you even had to add the bolded part while arguing for him is all any of us really needs to know.

We played 4 games against teams that were over .500 the whole 06 season. We beat 4-12 teams to get to the playoffs! The 8-8 Jaguars stomped a mudhole in us and Chad was like his usual dear in the headlights self in the Playoffs! I think Chad is Mediocre at best when he is 100% healthy!. Until he wins a Sb or at least gets to an Afc Championship he will never prove us wrong. And in and Afc with the Chargers, Pats, Colts, Steelers and Jags that ain't gonna happen. At best we have another 17 T/D - 16 Int one and done playoff berth to look forward to. Means we get a worse pick than the team that went 4-12 come draft time!

He melted down in 2002 against the Raiders also. That's just part of his personality: give him a no-win situation and he fulfills it completely.

with his injury history...you'd think he's been on the cover more than once.
