It'd be better to use teams of lesser prestige. Florida, Ohio State, USC, LSU, and all of the teams that are ALWAYS ranked towards the top are incredibly too fast and too good in this year's game. Why not start a dynasty with teams that have 3 stars of prestige? It will make recruiting more interesting and it should be more competitive.
I'd be fine with that. I'm not too interested in the recruiting aspect of it though - looking to just do a season really.
I do the same thing, but I'm usually Arkansas State. If you beat enough big time teams and accomplish coacing goals, you can move into bigger conferences and get big time recruits. In my mind, the whole point of dynasty mode is to BUILD from the bottom up.
I'd do it, but my 360 is broken right now, and I'm waiting on a replacement, so I can't guarantee I'll be there for the start of it.
Yeah man, but I've noticed recruiting is much harder this year. I remember last year, as a 1-star team I was able to get the #1 overall player in the class. This year (I simulate a lot of the games, but do the recruiting in the begging so I can bring in some of my own guys) I've gone through about 4 or 5 seasons and I have gotten one 5-star guy, and I'm a 4 star prestige and my team is still pretty awful.
