I take that back. I tuned in to hear a 10 second Mangini clip about healthy competition and then hear Trey Wingo say the Jets have problems. That was great. haha.

    Okay, it was brief:

They pulled an excerpted interview from Mike and Mike: Mangini said both QB's would run with the 1st team, and that's helpful because of unforetold events during the season. Both are getting an equal shot, and he'll make his decision when the time is right.

    nothing new there.

Then the NFL Live guys added their input: Both Eric Allen and the other old guy (forget his name) said the nod should go to Clemens. Eric Allen said Clemens has more to offer in terms of arm strength. The other guy said - without explanation - to go with the younger, fresher QB. Then they agreed that there's really no such thing as a good, healthy QB competition, because that means the most significant position is unresolved.

Trey Wingo is a total douche. Way to go ESPN, does the host always have to be an annoying jackass?

NFL Live is one of the worst shows on ESPN.

He always has some wise-ass thing to say when they mention the Jets, which is rare. At the same time laying on his back to deep-throat the Patriots' hind tit at every available opportunity.

They also Mentioned Calvin Pace, and Mangini is fully confident in him

There you go again... holding back.

For once I wish you'd tell us how you really feel about this guy.

hahah i wonder if Wingo, Sims, Nance, and Theisman were circle-jerking to the Pats last year, only to go completely limp when Burress caught that TD.

    (sorry, was that overboard?)

Did anyone think Mangini was going to say anything we didn't already know before camp starts? ESPN is a hero-worshipping hype machine, nothing more.

    Overboard? Hell no!

They probably all ordered Viagra for covering the Patriots' TC this year!

When I saw the title "NFL Live about to talk to Mangini about QB situation", my first assumption was that they would turn it into yet another 'Brett Favre is headed to Jets', (or whoever, as long as they get to talk about Brett Favre.)

I didn't see it, and if he snickered that's douchey, but we do have problems.

Nope, Patriots TC is the one thing they don't need Viagra for.

Honestly, I don't know what any of us should expect from any of these interviews. They're always going to be loaded with already-known redundancy, carefully selected verbage and generalities designed to give no information whatsoever.
