They still have to win the game, but with Papelbon, Rivera, K-Rod, and Soria in the bullpen still I like their chances.

    this is hilarious

not sure which is funnier: the Yankees fans and Papelbon or Girardi catching in the bullpen

tejada with the NL's first steal! Navarro's poor throw sends Tejada to third

Tejada scores on a sac fly!

I thought Navarro was the best DEFENSIVE catcher in the game?

The only thing you need to close is your mouth.

Yeah, he sucks. Giving up a bloop hit then getting two Ks and a semi-shallow fly ball. He's garbage.

    That run is on Navarro.

Read the whole quote. He said Rivera SHOULD be closing, but that he WANTED to. Of course he wanted to. He's a closer. Every closer WANTS to close every game. But he never said ANYTHING bad about Rivera. In fact, he was very complimentary of him. But I guess it's easier to just be ignorant about it.

I just knew Wagner would blow it. It's a tradition.

The only surprise is that it wasn't a homer. Rather, allowing a steal and then a hit.

5/5 on steals for the AL.

So now what happens with Rivera? There can't be a save, so does he pitch now?

Or maybe it's just easy to hate the retahds up north?

Now I really hope that Mo saves the game. I feel like crap cheering for Sox and Rays.
