This Brett Favre talk is ridiculous. First of all, Green Bay has all the leverage. Worst case scenario they'll have to take him on as a backup quarterback. Secondly, I don't want him. It will be the equivalent of Michael Jordan playing for the Wizards. We're gonna take another teams legend and watch the end of his career, and his physical skills disintegrate in front of us. Then years from now they'll be showing highlights of Brett Favre's career and how great he was, until he got to the Jets and sucked and then realized he should retire. I'd rather develop my own quarterback and have him for years to come.
if anybody thinks that the jets are not a better team with brett favre as the QB next year you are an ignorant fool!! 6 months ago he threw for over 4,000 yds and 30 TD's!! how is someone that did that 6 months ago all of a sudden a washed up has been?? he's leaps and bounds better than anything the jets have on their roster!! i've seen penny and i've seen kellen. THEY BOTH SUCK!!!! the FO went out and spent a shit load of money in the off season the revamp the roster, with the exception of 1 position... the quarterback! THIS TEAM NEEDS A QB!! go get favre, let him play for 2 seasons then see where your at when that time comes!
