Now that the Yankee season if over, what will everyone be doing to pass some summer days? On the nights that the Yankees are playing what will you be doing instead of sitting in front of the TV like a mope? I plan on watching joba pitch every 5 days but other than that theres nothing to watch. Perhaps join a bowling league? Play tennis in the evenings? any ideas?
Thats a little harsh, man, he's just overcome by youthful exuberance. You may have heard, I pay close attention to such things. Seriously, your missing some high comedy, bro.
While I do possess extraordinary superpowers, my ability to discern joejets innermost hopes, dreams and aspirations is sadly deficient. I think he's just a dick.
Training camp is near. I mean really, whats with the Yankees? Something has felt off all season. I have no confidence they will comeback either, which I usually do.
I was up set about one thing when i moved south. I missed the convenience of my sports teams being on local TV. Now,it is just as easy to ignore the Yankees from here when they piss me off. 2008 is the official "they Yankees gave me a contract so i'm gonna take a year off" season
Amazing how the Yankees have 26 world championships and have won the whole thing more than any other team since 1996, and some Yankee fans are already calling it quits on the season. Did you all already forget what the Yankees did last year? The Yankees are actually above .500 this year, I'm not so sure they were above .500 @ this point in the season last year. It's not even the allstar break, the "Devil Rays" are leading the East and if the Yankees can actually hold onto this lead today then take another game from Boston tomorrow, they would then only be four games behind the Red Sox with a chance to take two games from the Rays @ home. Sad
haha how am i being a douche? the season is over dude. no playoffs. I for one will not sit in front of the tv like an asshole for the rest of summer so im looking for ideas
well in my opinion, you arent a true fan if you give up on a team halfway through the season. dont you remember last season? and if you give up watchin thats fine i guess, i just dont want to hear your your complaining anymore
so you prefer to do something else like an asshole? Funny how that works out jonny.... me kidding
The Yankees were 10.5 back on July 7th last year and their winning percentage was .494. This year they are 9 back and playing .528. The difference is at this time last year they didn't have two .300 hitters and three of their 5 starters (well, 2 maybe..I don't count Kennedy as anything more than trade bait now) on the DL. It will be much harder this year to come back unless they make a trade or two before the deadline.
